An autobiography in German by Frieda Hempel entitled Mein Leben dem Gesang was published in 1955 by Argon Verlag, GmbH, in Berlin. It was dedicated to Mr. and Mrs. George T. Keating. The present volume was prepared by Mme Hempel and Ms. Johnston in English.
