Ben Wagner built his 1941 Plymouth woody wagon by combiningbody components from AMTs Plymouth coupe and Revells Fordwoody. He finished the long roof with Testors dark red enameland simulated the wood trim with hand-painting.
Darryl Starbirds Predicta bubble-top was in its third iterationwhen Monogram kitted it in 1/24 scale. Keith Reimers built thekit box stock and added a decal of the box art to the interior TVscreen. He painted it Testors ruby red metallic over gold.Taking the engine from a 34 Ford pickup, Daryl Vondra madeAMTs 40 Ford sedan delivery his own, adding spark-plug wiresand finishing the trim with Bare-Metal Foil. Daryl credits GeneWinfields shop truck and the box art as inspiration for the finish.
Revells 67 GTX took Ken Reimers a week to finish box stock. HeMustang lover Bob Carey installed a NASCAR front air dam onairbrushed the body Venetian gold with acrylic craft paints.his Revell 1970 Ford Mustang, but he didnt stop there. He addedgauges inside and made door locks and knobs from straight pins.
He airbrushed with a custom blend of copper and red.
This Bonneville Salt Flats racer by Dino Allbaugh started lifeas a Testors Coupster. Dino made the interior race ready,added moon discs, and applied racing decals. He displayedthe speed demon with a vial of Bonneville Flats salt.Mike Pearsall converted a Lindberg 66 Chevelle SSinto a stock Malibu using parts from other kits,
including a small-block engine and hub caps. He
scratchbuilt the front seat and painted it to matchhis fathers car, which he drove to get his license.
Jason Lookabill updated this AMT 1937 Ford sedan with alowered suspension and custom wheels and tires. He shaved thebody and polished it off with a clean paint job.
Remember the movie DamnationAlley? Well, Bernie Thomasundertook the effort to scratchbuild the Landmaster from thefilm. He spent three months creating this realistic replica.Kevin Wight built this 32 Ford rat rod starting with an AMT kit.He chopped the top, added a belly pan and a nerf bar, wired it upand rusted it to rat-rod specs.
Luke Ewert, one of the shows Junior entrants, did a clean buildof a Polar Lights BacktotheFutureDeLorean. He added details,including the wire extension for the movies final time jump.
Gene Lee started with the AMT Shelby Cobra 289 and thendetailed it out, including scratchbuilt rear fender flares anddecals. He then added white-metal wheels with knockoffs to addto the race-car look.
Combine a Monogram 37 Cord and a bunch of parts from yourspares and you might end up with this. Paul Mackie did aftermodifying the Cords suspension and adding disc brakes andFoose wheels. He went to work on the engine compartment,followed with body mods, and finished with a two-tone paint job.
Start with the Revell 48 Fordwoody and then convert it to aMarmon-Herrington 4x4. AlLenox did this very thing bymodifying the suspension andadding the 4WD mechanicals. Anice replica of a rare find in the1/1 world.

Claude Thibodeau built a pro touring Cuda using Revells 1970Cuda AAR, the V10 powerplant, wheels, and tires from RevellsSidewinder, Tamiya paint, and Testors Wet Look clear.This 2014 Repsol Honda RC213V was built by StephaneLapointe. He used a Tamiya kit, Zero Paint, Top Studio details,and a Tamiya Detail-Up set for the front fork.
To get his 71 Plymouth Road Runner, Christian Sguin dug up aMonogram 1971 Satellite and went to work providing a vinyl roof,seat belts, and an engine from Monograms 71 Cuda.Sebastien Fergusson used an Aoshima Honda Civic EF3 kit,aftermarket body components, Aoshima wheels, racing seatsand a back seat to make his lowriding tuner.
Frdric Langevin introduced a Revell VW Beetle to MPCs TheScavengerDatsun tow truck and the result was this incrediblycool V-dub wrecker. Of course. a working truck needed rust.Mario Camirand showed off his Academy 1964 Ferrari 250 LM,He says it was a restoration, but wouldnt explain further otherthan to say Tamiya paint and Bare-Metal Foil brought it together.
A box-stock build was allYanick Ct was looking forfrom his Revell 1966 ChevySuburban, and he delivered aclean, two-tone truckster.Huge truck, tiny model! Luc Harvey astounded with his 1/72 scale Trumpeter CA-30. This tiny logging workhorse started as a CA-30aircraft fueling truck; Luc scratchbuilt the bed and heavily weathered the finish.
