For the people in my riverbed and tributaries who taught me fortitude, resiliency, humour, and grace of spirit, heart, and soul.

Edward Linehan, my father. His outlook on life was as unfathomable and unshakable as his love of family. His honesty, his goodness, his trust in God, and his steadfast plod forward saturated us with the best of him.

Frank and Ida Power, my maternal grandparents. Their love and affection for each other and for their family helped define us all.

Francis, Richard, Sharon, Harold, and Barry Linehan, my brothers and sister. We only had a lend of them for a little while, but the comfort of their love is everlasting.
