Jennifer LaGarde has spent her entire adult life working in public education. She has served as a classroom teacher, a teacher-librarian, a digital teaching and learning specialist, district-level support staff, and a statewide leader as a consultant for both the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction and the Friday Institute for Instructional Innovation. Jennifer currently works with teachers, librarians, instructional technologists, instructional coaches, and both building- and district-level leaders around the world to develop innovative instructional practices. Library Journal, The American Association of School Librarians, The New York Times, and The Carnegie Corporation have recognized Jennifers work. Shes also the author of the award-winning blog The Adventures of Library Girl.

Darren Hudgins is CEO of Think | Do | Thrive, which helps educators, school leaders, districts, and school organizations build their culture, strengthen human capacity, and inspire the souls of social servants. He knows first-hand how difficult it is to cultivate and lead an environment of learning on a day-to-day basis as well as manage the rapid changes that are disrupting our society. Darren has spent his life fostering unique learning experiences in education on the front lines; he is a former secondary teacher, district coach, staff developer, speaker, facilitator, developer of technology integration programs, and youth coach. In addition to his work in schools, Darren has held roles including the Director of Instructional Technology for the nonprofit consortium Organization for Education Technology and Curriculum (OETC). There he had the pleasure of building a vast community of facilitators to help lead boutique professional development experiences (IntegratED Portland | AcceleratED Portland, SPARK, and Leading Schools, to name a few). He has facilitated keynotes for an array of schools, organizations, and parent advisory groups, and has conducted workshops on instructional strategies, leadership, capacity building, change management, CTE, STEAM, cohort/cadre models, and project-based learning across the United States. Darren has consulted for Future Ready Schools, Friday Institute for Educational Innovation, Nearpod, and various school districts. Darren is a Google Certified Innovator (#GMTV12) and holds an M.Ed. from Pacific University and dual Bachelors degrees in Human Development and Social Sciences.
