Note to Readers

This book exposes so much I struggled to find a good editor and willing - photo 2

This book exposes so much I struggled to find a good editor and willing publisher. I verified facts and data with multiple sources to avoid publishing false information or errors. Many facts and incidents related here are unpalatable to, and hidden by Republicans to avoid unfavorable public relations. The news media has suppressed or at least minimized most the events in this book.

Obscure facts and incidents must be published to present the truth of our history, especially events that occurred since World War II (WWII) and exposing the factors leading to Donald Trumps election. This book is not intended to insult any person or group, but facts, especially those that had previously been hidden, may be undesirable revelations to some. But to accurately present history, facts must be presented in a true and open forum.

Much of the research this book relies on came from the Internet, which should be expected in 2019. While the Internet is a trove of information, flaws in the worldwide web have been exploited. Russian troll farms have engaged in cyberattacks on social media to create false information. The goal of this Russian interference was to further divide America based on difference of opinions and emotions. The Russian government was behind many of these attacks, and Moscow corrupted social media as a means of interfering in our elections. Care was taken to avoid sites that might have been used for such purposes. I also took pains to obtain multiple corroborating sources.

Some facts accumulated are presented bare-that is, without qualifiers such as gives the appearance or it appears that or allegedly. My objective is to provide facts from reliable sources that can be verified, rather than to provide a lengthy legal document, which makes it difficult to convey my message. For example, in the pages that follow I state that Ronald Reagan ran an illegal cocaine-smuggling cartel, an allegation that was never proven in court. However, the accumulation of verified facts indicates this was the only plausible scenario given the collusion of so many government agencies during an explosion in illegal drug use, which funded the Contras wars. In addition, the courtroom testimony of drug and weapons smugglers, money launderers, and coordinators of wars and drug dealings was blocked by the federal government under the guise of national security. Court cases with solid evidence were dismissed because of national security. Cases that were dismissed because the government declared them under the banner of national security did not absolve the defendants but they were released, and it did not disprove the accounts defendants gave to reporters. This evidence still exists. It was never presented in court, and the government denies its existence but it is still vital that it be heard.

This is the purpose of my book.

Introduction

As this book is being written it is hard to deny that America is divided and - photo 3

As this book is being written, it is hard to deny that America is divided, and nowhere is that divide more pronounced than citizens feelings about President Donald Trump. There seems to be little room for compromise on the issue. A majority of American citizens believe Americas biggest problem is that Donald Trump was elected president. Simultaneously, about a third of Americans believe Donald Trump is doing a great job.

This rift is significant, but what is more important is what lies beneath this division. It tells us America is facing huge problems, problems much deeper than opinions about our President. These problems have become critical, and they endanger America and its future. Because the issues seemed to have reached a boiling point in recent years, it is easy pronounce Trump as the cause. But the facts prove these issues have been in play for some time. They didnt start with Trump.

America is entering uncharted waters. It has reached an age where truth has no meaning, or it can be ignored, and lying is the norm. The facts will show that our culture of dishonesty has reached its zenith in the Oval Office. President Trump continually spews lies, and the news media puts the best possible spin on his falsehoods. The lies dont stop there. Republicans and Democrats sensationalize the presidents lies and use them to justify their objectives. The public hears these lies often enough that they often perceive them as the truth. They are unaware that these lies are not reality, or they ignore the fact that they are untrue. The impact of this duplicity reaches far and wide. America is losing credibility worldwide, and such lying risks of becoming the irreversible standard for America.

Russian influence over American politics doesnt stop with Internet trolls. The facts show that President Vladimir Putin, our worst adversary, has control over President Trump. Vladimir Putin has declared America as his enemy, yet news videos from 2018 show Putins exuberance at controlling Americas president.

Reactions to Putins seeming control fall along political party ties. Republicans agree with Putin. They enjoy having an American president concede to Russian demands and aggression with no fear of sanctions or reprisal. Democrats are appalled at Trump acquiescing to Putins desires as well as his removal of sanctions and objections to Russian aggression. During the Obama administration, right wing conservatives were critical of Obama not being tough enough on Russia, yet after Trump was sworn in, they applauded his consenting to Putins desires.

Views about North Korea are similar. Kim Jong-un for control. Kim Jong-un played Trump as a fool, and Republicans praised Trumps efforts, even though those actions accomplished nothing toward denuclearizing North Korea. North Korea benefitted in other ways as well. Trump halted joint military exercises between U.S. and South Korean forces in addition to dropping sanctions against North Korea.
