We dedicate this book to developing communities around the world who struggle against the odds and who aspire to a higher quality of life for themselves and their children. Our book is also dedicated to our parents and to their parents upon whom various injustices were inflicted in the name of development through centuries of colonization, and imperialism, and what may be termed bonded development.
