After military school, Donald went to Fordham University in New York. Later he went to the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. In 1968, Donald earned a college degree in economics.

In 1971, Donald took over his fathers business. Soon he renamed it The Trump Organization. He bought, sold, and many buildings. These included office buildings, hotels, and resorts. Donald earned a lot of money.
