Acknowledgement
First, I am highly indebted to the Nigeria Governors Forum, the staff of NIPC (Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission) and the National Bureau of Statistics for their partnership and great help in capturing the investment prospects of each of the Nigerias 36 States and the FCT.
I give special thanks to the NGF (Nigeria Governors Forum), and to Mr. Asishana Okauru, the Director General of NGF, for their huge commitment towards the completion of this big project. It is with their support that I was able to complete this big project in October, 2020.
I also give special thanks to the World Bank for their report on doing business in Nigeria, the National Bureau of Statistics, www.climate-data.org , the Nigerian State Government, the Labor force and the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Introduction
This project was inspired by my tiring trips cross Nigeria. In my trips, I was exposed to the richness of Nigerias diversity. Nigeria is an investment haven, and it boosted my interest in creating investment prospects across all the states of Nigeria.
The information in this book was compiled with the help of the Nigeria Governors Forum, the parties responsible for investment promotion across the 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory, and several stake holders in Nigeria.
Logos of all Nigeria States and NGF
I am very grateful for the support I received from all the 36 Governors and the Honorable Minister for Federal Capital Territory. I also appreciate the great support of my partners who are responsible for promoting investment at the State level.
