A mong so-called holy books, the Bible is unique in its two-thousand-year-old declaration: Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this (Revelation 4:1). This prophetic invitation set this principal author on a lifelong effort to study what might happen after this in the context of global geopoliticsand to share his hypotheses in this book. Amazingly, a variety of headline-grabbing global bombshells surrounding the denuclearization of North Korea, Brexit, Israel, Iran, China, Russia, and the presidency of Donald Trump can each be understood in terms of ancient Bible prophecies.

This principal author cherishes the tremendous opportunity he had working in the research and development branch of Canadas Department of National Defence (DND) for twenty-seven years. As he gradually took on greater responsibilityincluding representing Canada in dealing with the US through the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and Ballistic Missile Defense Organization (BMDO) as well as dealing with allies from NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization)he became ever more conscious of Bible prophecies unfolding in terms of global geopolitics and military defence.

In the 1980s, while crisscrossing Europe to attend NATO-related functions, this principal authors attention was drawn to what might take place in Europe, especially Germany. Having grown up in Indonesia and having been exposed to events in North and South Vietnam, China and Taiwan, as well as North and South Korea, amongst others, he became fascinated with Daniel chapter 2 in the Bible, which seemed to prophesy the unification of divided countries (like mixtures of iron and clay). He wrote in 1988 and published in May 1989 his hypotheses that Germany might unify; that the US might withdraw from the European political arena; and that Chinas military and intellectuals would enter into conflict.

To his surprise, in May 2000, a decade after his ideas were published, the report from the US National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), Proteus: Insights from 2020, forecasted scenarios for the year 2020 that overlapped with his analyses. Back in the 1980s, it was almost lunacy to speculate that Germany would unify. Even after the Berlin Walls 1989 collapse, reconciliation between North and South Korea or between China and Taiwan remained implausible. But his insight came from the careful study of Bible prophecy.

Bible prophecies about the end times can help us understand what happens around the globe. With this book, this principal author has worked with his daughters resourceful support to addressthrough the lens of Bible prophecythe possibilities of the US retreating; the Koreas unifying; Russia, China, and Israel rising; the emergence of a ten-king European coalition; turmoil in the Middle East; and ultimately the rise of the Antichrist.

Two millennia ago, the Bible accurately prophesied modern-day geopolitical bombshells. This evidence of the Bibles supernatural authority gives us reason to believe in other Biblical contentsincluding the promised return of Jesus Christ. Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!

Stephen Hawkings End of the World Bombshell

I n March 2018, two weeks before his death, Stephen Hawking and a coauthor finalized an article predicting that the universe would end by fading into darkness when the stars run out of energy. They submitted the article titled A Smooth Exit from Eternal Inflation to a leading scientific journal.

Almost a year earlier, on 5 May 2017, CNBC reported: Stephen Hawking says humans must colonize another planet in 100 years or face extinction. According to the article:

With climate change, overdue asteroid strikes, epidemics and population growth, our own planet is increasingly precarious.

Previously, Hawking theorized that humanity probably has around 1,000 years left before it becomes extinct. His timeline appears now to have shortened.

Although the chance of a disaster to planet Earth in a given year may be quite low, it adds up over time, and becomes a near certainty in the next thousand or ten thousand years, Hawking told the BBC in an interview at the time.

The Chicago Tribune also reported on the 100-year deadline:

In recent months, Hawking has been explicit about humanitys need to find a Planet B. In the past, he has also called for humans to colonize the moon and find a way to settle Marsa locale he referred to as the obvious next target in 2008, according to New Scientist [magazine].

"We must continue to go into space for the future of humanity."

"I don't think we will survive another 1,000 years without escaping beyond our fragile planet.

Sir Martin Rees and Others

Hawking was not alone in making dire predictions for our planet. Sir Martin Rees was the fifty-ninth president of the Royal Societyeffectively Britains top scientist. He was also a master of Trinity College, Cambridge, and has been the astronomer royal since 1995. Rees published a book in 2003 entitled:
