Introduction

Are you having trouble in time management? Perhaps, you are one of those people who cannot concentrate well. Are you having a hard time gathering your thoughts and dealing with a messy and stressful life?

Those people who succeeded and are still succeeding in life are known to be great at managing their time. They organize their things, possessions and tasks, as well as their minds. Intelligence and proficiency wont work without the organizing skill. So, how does one get to be like them?

Thats not supposed to be the question. The question is, when and where will you start to organize your life? Organizing involves time. Most of us believe that time needs to be managed as well. But if you chose the other path and you think time is worthless, theres no point in organizing your day to achieve success.

But if you think time is something we should value, time management and self-organization are the best answers thatll lead us to a favorable outcome! The basic tips in self-improvement, time management and enhancing skills are now ahead of you.

Flan? No. Plan!

Planning is widely used in all aspects of life. A professional, a student, or even those who live in the sidewalk use this familiar strategy for their everyday living. Plan your day the night before. Plan at least three tasks you have to accomplish for the upcoming day.

For example, number one on your list should be work-related if youre already an employee, or school-related if youre still a student. These are usually the highly prioritized tasks. You can also add an errand on the list; or some stuff related in obtaining your immediate goals and objectives.

No matter what they are, plan ahead. Its better to construct an outline for your tomorrow than to be clueless about what you have to carry out in the future. This will cause delay to your trip to success.

Something Ruined the Scheme? Plan B Coming Up!

Not all things get done the way you have planned them. There are always interruptions and unexpected events that will cause some delay to your plan depending how heavy the situation is.

But no matter how many the unnecessary and unwanted events are, be sure that you are prepared with some back-up plan! Lets put it this way: if you have planned for a family outing the next day and then suddenly it rains, jump to your next plan.

Your next plan may be a movie marathon with the family, or anything you want to do as long as your time isnt wasted because of some sort of hindrance. At least you still had quality time with your family.

Do Something Productive

This can be challenging for most of us. First thing in the morning, you will eat breakfast and then what comes next? Plant your behind on the couch, feet up and randomly slide and tap on your phone while daydreaming? Was that even a good start in making something huge?

Remember to start your day with making big accomplishments. We can always attend to our phones and other activities after finishing a bigger task. That bigger task may be the ones we hate to do or we dont want to do at all but we are required to.

(Examples of these are your work reports and data analyses, or your house errands and chores.) At least, after we accomplish the bigger task, we have done something productive than turning time into worthless minutes.

Have a Break Time. Not Your Back!

Have you ever felt tired and sick while working on your tasks? One step to self-organize effectively is to take a break during your work. Taking a break gives you time to relax. Relaxing gives you a healthy mind and body. It helps in restoring your passion and joy in the life you are living. When you are already fully relaxed, you can now go back to work with a smile plastered on your face and an excited aura on your faade. But do not forget to monitor your time and go back to work immediately.

You Are Not a Superhero!

People cant accept the fact that they cannot do all their tasks in just one day! Unless you are Superman, but no! This is reality.

People tend to push the impossibility of accomplishing all their duties in 24 hours. So they could shirk the next day or relax for the following week. But pushing themselves to the extent of what they can just do will just lead to be bigger problem.

Other people choose to relax and do nothing for the entire week because the deadline is still in the next few months; and when the deadline is approaching, they cram and call for a miracle so that they could finish the task in a day. But that isnt really helpful. A smart person knows how to plan milestones ahead of time. Accept the fact that we cannot do all of them overnight.

Take Advantages of Your Cleared Head

When the mind is clear, it is the best time to make use of your brainpower. Usually, people with cleared head are beginning to be more creative and productive. You should take advantage of it because it gives you the opportunity to think more ideas and allows you to receive more information that can help you get done with your duties and tasks.
