For many people, crystals are divine light that has crystallised and taken on form. They carry virtue and wisdom within them. Crystals help you to find your own inner light, your divine being. A connection that instils confidence and a feeling of safety knowing that you are an eternal soul that happens to be on a human journey. Some people call that inner light God, others Source, Spirit, the crystal oversouls, the divine or enlightenment. Whatever name you give it, once you are attuned to it, it provides you with a sense of being protected by a greater power. A power of which you are an integral part, not an outsider. And that light takes you beyond the cares and worries of everyday into a quiet peaceful sacred space within your Self. Over the last thirty-five years Ive written several books on space clearing and psychic protection. Each time I hoped Id said everything that needed to be said. And then something else would come along. New challenges, new crystals, new ways of looking at things. But never before have I gathered together all the protective crystal possibilities into a directory such as this one. Whether you need to create a safe space for everyday living or meditation, or craft an oasis of calm in a buzzing work environment, or protect your home in a crime-ridden area, crystals will assist you. Youll be able to work in harmony with the Feng Shui bagua to harmonize your home, attract abundance and enhance all areas of your life. Cancellation or generation of positive energy by negative energy and vice versa is so often brought up by very serious physicists (e.g. A. Guth, AV Filippenko) as the argumentation for the possibility of the generation of our universe out of nothing, that I hardly dare to question this. As an example or metaphor for it is most often used the so called cancellation of (so called positive) kinetic energy by the (so called negative) gravitational energy. The writer of that quote is a physicist, and physicists name their energies somewhat differently to crystal healers. But we often forget that you cannot just negate and cancel energy, energy doesnt die. It has to be transformed or transmuted. Even when it is, apparently, captured within a blocking stone such as Shungite, it does transform. Equally when we cleanse a stone this is in effect what we are doing with the energy. The toxic dross doesnt just disappear. It is transmuted. A process more akin to alchemy than rigid orthodox science which, we must never forget, grew out of alchemical roots aeons ago.

You may find some material here that you have read before. The basics remain the same but are reiterated in case this is the first of my books that you have picked up. But even if you are highly experienced, it never hurts to remind yourself of essential working practices such as cleansing, programming and grounding yourself. Other information is equally vital. But nevertheless youll find these topics briefly referred to here in less detail. Just the essential basics. But you cant keep your space clear without knowing something of the topic. The same can be said for ancestral clearing, soul work and karmic healing. Crystal Prescriptions volume 6 focuses specifically on those areas, but this volume too gives you first aid measures in case the ancestors or your own karmic past are interfering with your protection and well-being in this life.

If you dont cleanse your crystals regularly even they may be detrimental as they absorb and then, when overstuffed, give off negative energies.

Cleaning your crystals is simple if you choose tumbled stones, rugged chunks or single points. You simply have to hold them under running water for a few minutes and, preferably, put them out in the sun and possibly the moon to recharge. White crystals are particularly fond of moonlight. Or, you can put them on to a large Quartz cluster or Carnelian to reboot. You can also use salt water to cleanse robust stones. If you use crystal clusters or stones that are fragile or dissolve, such as Selenite, the crystals need placing in raw brown rice overnight (see the right one, is that they forget to ask. So, once the crystal has been cleaned and energetically recharged, hold it in your hands and ask that it work for your highest good to protect you. You can be specific, or you can allow the natural intelligence of the crystal to recognize what you need. Once again, more details follow.
