Infuse Your World-and Your Heart-with Gods Life-Giving Power Amid our packed schedules and lifes curveballs, our hearts long for more. We want to live and love well; we want to be a source of joy and life. The good news is that you can-and the secret is found in the simple act of prayer. Prayer was never meant to be a recitation of requests, but rather a drawing close to the heart of God. When you learn to exchange the obstacles of life for the promises of God, you will pray with passion and confidence rather than fear or insecurity. From this place of surrender and intimacy, you will discover what it means to become a powerful, effective woman of prayer-a woman whose life overflows with springs of living water that transform not only her own life, but the world around her. With study questions and journaling exercises included, this is the perfect book to go deeper either on your own or with a group.

Founding a global ministry probably wouldnt have happened if I didnt have a godly wife who knows how to pray, and it would not have expanded as far as it has without an army of intercessors. Sue Detweiler is a godly wife with many years of ministry experience who knows how to communicate with her heavenly Father. I would encourage you to read this book and become an intercessor for your family, your church, and Gods kingdom.

Having known Sue for more than fifteen years, I have developed a deep respect for her zeal for the Lord, her family, the lost, and the extended body of Christ. The Lord has called Sue to great significance and purpose.

Foreword

I love mountains and I love climbing them! I cant remember a time when I didnt relish the adventure of being out in nature and the challenge of getting to the top. In recent years, my love for climbing has taken me to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro (19,341 ft.) in Africa and Everest Base Camp (17,598 ft.) in Nepal. High elevation trekking is one of the hardest but most thrilling things Ive ever done.
