When the editors invited me to write this commentary, my first response was, Why me? Then as I began to pray and consider the matter, the issue became, Why not me? I have read and studied Revelation all my life. I can never remember a time that I did not eagerly look forward to the return of Christthe central theme of the book. Why not grasp at an opportunity to study Revelation more thoroughly than ever? This volume is offered as the product of those labors.
