In our world, there is no such thing as doing it on our own. We all are in debt to those who help maintain the systems that support us, as well as to those who have gone before, paving the way so that our world is made even possible. I must first thank my ancestors, whose stories filled my childhood with magic and song and set the stage for me to find myself on the fae-touched path. To all of you, known and unknown, I thank you.

I must next thank my beloved partners, Chas Bogan and Devin Hunter. Were it not for them, I would not have been able to write this book, and for that I am eternally grateful. Grateful for the many long nights spent listening to me go on and on about how a certain subject or symbol was inspiring my work. Grateful for the patience they displayed when I continued to go on and on about some detail of Craft lore or history. Grateful for the many extra shifts they covered at our store so that I could stay home and write. Grateful for the many meals cooked, the errands run, and the housework done so that I could have the time necessary to devote to making this book a reality. Grateful for the love and support that they have both shown me for this, and for my many other half-finished projects that maybe one day I will get back to.
