My mother left my father when I was six. She moved hundreds of miles away north of where I lived in Bristol, in the southwest region of the UK. By the time I was 12, she had died of cancer. It was this event that ultimately led to my writing this book. I hope that the death of my mother, Anne Richardson (Flook), has not been in vain. I wish that she could be here, reading this book. Im proud that my father, Julian Flook, will see the fruits of my labors, as he has supported me in my pursuit of understanding.

Following my parents divorce, I found my fathers relationships difficult to accept; it took a long time for me to forgive him. However, now that I have a son of my own, I understand how challenging it is being a parent. We all make mistakes after all, we are only human. He has had his fair share of illnesses and issues. His support has been inspiring, and without him you wouldnt be reading this book.

My incredible wife, Kristin Watson-Flook, has patiently observed and assisted me in this book. Little does she know how her stability and groundedness have made this book into a reality. When we decided to change our business from an NLP training company to what has become Advanced Clearing Energetics, we both knew it would be challenging, and Kristin has stuck by me through thick and thin. My learning and regular free consultations, as I strived to fully understand how Advanced Clearing Energetics works for people in real life, meant our income dropped by two-thirds of what we earned from NLP. I am glad to say it has paid off; this information is so valuable for everyone and I now provide training worldwide.

And, of course, I want to thank my son, Oliver. Anyone who has children will understand why I want to acknowledge him, because our children are our greatest teachers.

As an Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) Master, Ive been on the cutting edge of the personal-development industry for a number of years. As for many people, this particular journey started with my own health issues.

From 2001 to 2002, Id become increasingly ill with chronic fatigue, multiple allergies, inflammation, and metabolism, and blood-sugar regulation issues. While recovering from these conditions, I was drawn to EFT and soon became a therapist, trainer, and eventually an EFT Master. In this time, I drew a disproportionate number of clients and trainees who were also overcoming serious illness and disease. The universe has a way of sending not only those who are on a similar path but also, if we pay attention, the solutions to our problems. So while I looked for the answers to help my clients and myself heal, I was lucky enough to find wonderful teachers from around the world. Gary Craig, the creator of EFT, was one such teacher. Donna Gates, the founder of the Body Ecology Diet, and cellular biologist Dr. Bruce Lipton, were other pioneering and inspiring teachers, whose incredible knowledge helped me to make sense of and understand the conditions that I and others were experiencing health conditions for which the modern medical model had no solution.

Armed with a wealth of information from these great people, I developed EFT for Serious Disease Training, which has been popular with medical professionals, therapists, and laypeople alike. My training explains how eventually, as we age, our early traumas and childhood experiences, if left unresolved, often manifest as a myriad of diseases, as the body tries to adapt the subconscious minds mistaken perceptions of self and the environment. As well as identifying the problem, my training helped to address the solution, showing how these conditions can be resolved with EFT.

On my journey, I was fortunate to meet and train with Richard Flook, and learn his invaluable system now named Advanced Clearing Energetics. Time and again Ive been able to help clients, trainees, and workshop attendees locate the underlying emotional cause of disease with pinpoint accuracy, and resolve it with EFT. Ive seen great results working with chronic fatigue syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis (MS), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), diabetes, asthma, cancer, Crohns disease, colitis, vitiligo, alopecia, hypothyroidism, anxiety, panic attacks, stress, and depression, among many other physical and emotional conditions. These results have been greatly accelerated thanks to Advanced Clearing Energetics.

Several years ago I developed an advance in EFT, a technique called Matrix Reimprinting. Combining EFT with quantum physics and the developments in the new sciences, Matrix Reimprinting is a powerful tool for personal transformation. Richard fondly refers to Matrix Reimprinting and Advanced Clearing Energetics as a match made in heaven! The reason being that you can work directly with parts of yourself that have split off due to previous life traumas with Matrix Reimprinting and identify which traumas have specifically caused which disease with Advanced Clearing Energetics. So with simple analysis you can quickly get to the root of any disease condition using Advanced Clearing Energetics and resolve it using Matrix Reimprinting.

In 2008, with our shared passion to unite these two techniques, Richard and I filmed a three-day training course, in which we combined our knowledge. Richard skillfully questioned workshop participants about their existing medical conditions, identifying the life trauma(s) that had triggered them, while I resolved the stress and energetic disruption around the memory and installed more supportive memories using Matrix Reimprinting.

The results of this training were phenomenal! We worked with one workshop attendee and resolved her bipolar affective disorder in 50 minutes. With the accuracy of Advanced Clearing Energetics, we identified the root cause of the condition three early life traumas and with Matrix Reimprinting we reprogrammed these traumas. Of course, we might have eventually resolved this condition with Matrix Reimprinting alone, but without Advanced Clearing Energetics it would have taken months of systematically working on different life traumas in the hope of stumbling across the ones that caused the condition. Also, some of the traumas experienced are not available to the person consciously, so the ones causing the disease may remain hidden. But with Advanced Clearing Energetics, conditions and issues can be found accurately and precisely, enabling outstanding results.
