Hardly a day has passed this last year that someone special to this project hasnt come into my mind. People like my wife Gail and my executive secretary Sherry, who have nurtured and protected the intellectual property contained on these pages in myriad ways. When the proposal was almost ready to deliver to my literary agent, Bob Hostetler of the Steve Laube agency, who held my feet to the fire to make the manuscript sing for potential readers, Thomas Womack carved out a week during the 2018 holiday season to use his editors knowhow to help make the notes on the pages fit the melody.
