Neuroscience maintains that exploration of the brain, over time, should allow for considerable progress not only in the care of mental pathologies (like depression or schizophrenia), but also in the treatment of social problems, thus raising hope for applications that may increase efficacy in public policy, educational practices, or ways of influencing consumers or electors (neuroeconomics, neuropedagogy, neuromarketing, neurolaw, etc.).
