DAME JACQUELINE WILSON,
BESTSELLING CHILDRENS AUTHOR
This marvelous little book pretends with its brevity to be lightweight but punches so far above it that it makes you see stars. A fizzing, personal journey of selfdiscovery that opens a box of tricks on how to be present, happy and capable of wonder. Its main message is the wisdom of the ages: Rules are for the guidance of the wise and the enslavement of the stupid, a paean to playfulness, a celebration of the guiding light of our imagination, and how to set it on fire once morea little classic.

Simply the best book on creativity and the proper use of imagination I have ever read. Warm, tempting, and insightful, it has powerfully touched my soul.

I enjoyed reading this book. Challenging myself with if we can see the potential, the mystery and the magic in every moment... Not instantly easy for a politician and a businessman! Still, by the end, perhaps I shall have proved Monty Pythons song right (Its fun to charter an accountant, and sail the wide accountancy). I feel the tide lifting my old hull already!

To my rock n roll wife, Sundeep Sitara, and our
magical children, Tali, Iggy, Luna, and Star.
May we always be wild things.
We all remember times in childhood when we were sitting in a classroom. The teacher was introducing the lesson and we were completely engaged and attentive. Then something caught our eye out of the window, or a thought came into our mind. Suddenly, we were in another world.
This introduction is brief as I dont want to lose your attention. And yet, somewhere within those childhood wonderings of the mind is a gift for us in adulthood.
I have had children of my own and taught other peoples children for over 20 years and strongly believe that they have powerful and transformative insights that can teach us all something indispensable about life. Just look at how happy most of them are. Of course, they dont pay the bills or have the weight of the world on their shoulders. But is that the real reason for their happiness?
