Beautifully written.

Acknowledgments
A s may or may not be clear by now, this book is the culmination and outgrowth of many years of work that went into the creation, development, and production of Atlantis Rising Magazine, which was sold on newsstands worldwide from the 1990s onward. Anyone reading our magazine or the various books, translations, and documentaries that flowed from it owes a debt to the many artists, writers, and advertisers who helped create it; and, in turn, all of those who worked on it are indebted to those who chose to support financially this very unique endeavor. It was a good deal while it lasted, butconfronted by the inevitable challenges of advancing ageI was forced in 2019 to close the doors of our cherished periodical. It is hoped, though, that with the publication of the present book, it will be clear that the mission continues, albeit in a somewhat different form.
In a project like this, where so many have lent their support, it is not easy to decide who to single out for the kind of special thanks we can offer herebut for all who have helped along the way, you know who you are and so do I. Thank you so much. We will always be in your debt.
Among those to whom I can honestly say that if it were not for you, this book would not have happened, there is first my wife, Patricia, whose years of loyalty and loving support have kept me going through some very challenging times. Also in the family category I include my granddaughter Jessica, without whose very practical assistance at a crucial moment this project would not have been possible.
Someone who, in the 1990s, played an indispensable role in getting Atlantis Rising up and running, and in introducing it to the public, was the late John Anthony West. I would like to acknowledge here just how critically important his help was at a time of great vulnerability for the publication. I hope that, wherever he now hangs his hat, John will be pleased to see the present book in print, and that he will welcome the unique attention being paid here to the latter-day recovery of lost ancient wisdomthe cause he served for most of his life.
I would also like to extend my very special appreciation to Robert Schoch. In the 1990s, he, along with John West, broke the ice on mass public awareness for the reality of advanced prediluvian civilization and its significance today. For the quarter century of Atlantis Rising Magazines existence, Schochs many thoughtful contributions were essential to the high level of credibility that our work enjoyed everywhere. I could make similar statements about many of our writers, but, lacking the space here to say more, I will simply point out that you will find many of their insightful comments included in this book, and I am very grateful to them for that.
