I saw people around me messing with life and dealing with stress and anxiety. The writing in this book is based on my observations of people's life and some personal experience of dealing and fighting with anxiety. It is natural to become anxious at some point in life. I too dealt with anxiety when I had certain failures in my career. I decided to take up some positive motivations by reading some books. I talked to my friends and family about my stress; they give me encouragement to come out of my situation by advising some positive affirmations. I started writing this book when I realized that my dark time where I was depressed just became a past from which I have moved on by asserting positive thoughts and some and exercises to release anxiety. I want to share my experience of life in the form of affirmations which really helped me to release all my negativity towards life and made me a positive person.
Affirmations are the encouragement which when practiced everyday can change our way of life. This book contains 100 positive affirmations which can be practiced by common man in in their daily life without putting much effort towards it. Our thoughts are very powerful in controlling our life This book draws your attention towards the different things in life which can be managed by our thoughts.
This book is written in in layman language making it convenient for everyone to read. As I started writing more ideas popped into my mind. To make this book present table a lot of typing Re typing thinking modifications has been done. Introduction
A person is exposed to new stimulus every day which his mind captures and saves. He gets new information and remembers it for a certain period of time as long as it is important for him. Though it safe that information, it needs to be recalled every once in a while, to be remembered. When the phrase rewiring your brain comes, neuroplasticity is the scientific term for it, with which means remolding our brain to learn new experiences feelings, emotions and data. The neuroplastic experiment was first done by Russian psychologist Ivan Pavlov in 1899.
He gave the theory of classical conditioning while he was studying the digestive system of dogs. In his laboratory he kept a dog in controlled condition without providing food. When food was provided to the dog, it salivated and Pavlov measured the amount of saliva secreted by the dog. Pavlov concluded that the salivating action of dog was a natural stimulus.
The next time, he rang the bell prior to giving the dog food, the dog was able to hear the bell before seeing the food and then it started to salivate. Pavlov continued this experiment for some days and a condition came when the dog started to salivate only on the hearing of the bell even though food was not given. Pavlov took this sample of saliva and measured it and found out that it was of the same quantity as before when the dog salivated with natural stimulus on presentation of food. On this, he concluded that if two things which are unrelated and presented together for a period of time then we learn to relate these two things with each other in the same way as the dog-related ring of bell with food.
This is conditioned learning in which mind Learns a reflex and responses to it without thinking too much about it. In the following chapters you are going to learn about the recent researches done by University of Barcelona, University of Rochester and Carnegie Mellon University on neuroplasticity.
