Many early American historical quotes have been used in this bookquotes made at a time when grammatical usage and spelling were quite different from what is practiced today. In an effort to improve readability, we have modernized some spellings, capitalizations, and punctuations, leaving the historical content unimpaired.
Steve Feazel and Dr. Carol Swain ring a warning bell for all parents to heed who want their children to embrace and cherish traditional values and moral living that will allow them to live happy and productive lives. The book reveals the dangers of a relative morality while providing practical action steps that parents can take to prevent their children from becoming conformed to the secular pattern of the world.

Steve and Carol take a historical approach to the demise of our culture and to the loss of the hearts and minds of our children. In knowing where to go, you have to understand where you have been. This work lays out the basis of how to recapture the culture wars and save our children.
US Representative Marsha Blackburn (R-TN)
Steve Feazel and Carol Swain have performed a great service by exposing the people and institutions behind some of the most important threats to the innocence and moral and spiritual health of children today. These authors remind us that those responsible for the education of our young people frequently betray our trust by preaching to them the false catechism of me-generation if it feels good, do it liberalism. We owe it to our children and grandchildren to inform ourselves and to fight back.
Robert P. George,
McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence,
Princeton University

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Proverbs 22:6, NKJV
Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me. Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
Matthew 18:56, NKJV
The very power of [textbook writers] depends on the fact that they are dealing with a boy: a boy who thinks he is doing his English prep and has no notion that ethics, theology, and politics are all at stake. It is not a theory they put into his mind, but an assumption, which ten years hence, its origin forgotten and its presence unconscious, will condition him to take one side in a controversy which he has never recognized as a controversy at all.
C. S. Lewis,
The Abolition of Man
Foreword
Young people, especially teens and preteens, are the focal point of a cultural war raging in America. The prizes at stake in this struggle are the hearts and minds of our children. As it has for decades, the liberal Left is doing all it can to make certain that the worldview being adopted by our young people is the one that benefits liberal political candidates and liberal ideology. In Abduction , Steve Feazel and Dr. Carol Swain expose how Liberalism, aka the New Morality, uses culture in sinister ways to deceive young people into accepting a secular worldview that rejects traditional values and shuns the Christian faith.
The New Morality use public schools, colleges, the entertainment industry, and court decisions to capture the hearts and control the minds of young people who are, or are about to become, voters. Liberals embrace abortion, same-sex marriage, a godless culture, and a host of other morally bankrupt positions that contribute to degenerate living. These so-called progressives use any conceivable means, regardless how devious, to entice young people into rejecting traditional values held by their families. Feazel and Swain reveal this treachery of the Left and sound an alarm warning to parents to become more actively involved in guarding their children, who are at risk of being swallowed up by a hostile culture.
