The Outcry tours were born out of a desire to be the lights and sounds of the greatest movement in the world the local church. While studies and critics may indicate a decline of the local church, Ryan Romeos Outcry attests that the movement is only increasing. Its time we band together to empower the local church to influence the surrounding culture. Its you. Its us. Stand behind the church Jesus gave His life for. The part you play in your local church matters. You are an integral part of bringing Gods story to all corners of the world. Gods church isnt finished! Her best days are ahead.

It is clear that Ryan Romeo is passionate to see people know Jesus and to see the church at the forefront of that movement. With his new book, Ryan looks to motivate local churches across the world toward unity and to rise up, have faith, and reach their communities.

Chad Veach

Author of Unreasonable Hope

Ryan Romeos heart beats for the LOCAL church. His passion goes so far beyond a platform, an event, or one solitary ministry. He has a passion to see the unification of Gods people globally to support what happens locally.

Mack Brock

Elevation Worship

Ryan Romeo shows us love for the churchGods love for the church. Romeo reminds us that Jesus gave his life for the church. So we, too, are called to love the bride of Christ (since we, too, are the bride of Christ, and self-hate is not healthy). May God rekindle our love for his love. And may God renew the church for his glory.

Tom Parker

Fuller Theological Seminary

Ryan Romeos love and commitment to the local church should inspire us all. Truly the greatest impact we can have in our city is when we put our selfish ambitions aside and say yes to being part of the body of Christ. Ryan is living proof of that.

Cody Williams

Director of Development at Jesus Culture

Ryan and company make a beautiful case for this generation to be romanced by the movement of assembled Christ followers called the local church. OUTCRY declares Gods power and our mission and responsibility as the church under that authority. Find your heart, no matter the condition, wooed into this movement. No wonder his last name is Romeo.

Eric Samuel Timm

Orator, Artist, Author, Visionary

Gods plan has always been the local church. Ryan Romeo beautifully illuminates that narrative and deciphers the meaning of who we are and what God is doing through us as his body. Im so encouraged by this book about the beauty of the local church. Be ready to be challenged and encouraged.

FOREWORD

KARI JOBE AND CODY CARNES

O ne night during the Spring 2016 OUTCRY Tour, I had a dream. In this dream, I was walking around a beautiful, ornate old church with gorgeous architecture. And inside were these long wooden pews filled with people. Inside the building it was actually raining, and the people sitting didnt seem to notice. As I walked around, I noticed that there were about four inches of water splashing up on my shoes. It was very clean and beautiful water that seemed to be flowing by itself in different directions. The water felt cleansing. It felt light and peaceful. There was no heaviness in the room. The water seemed to be cleaning and renewing everything in the church.

I feel like this is Gods dream for us as a church in this season. In Ephesians 5:2627, Paul talks about Jesus returning for a spotless bride (the church), who has been cleansed with water. Cleansed with the Word. I believe this is what God is doing.

OUTCRY has a simple message: Its about the local church. Its about the one movement called the church. And OUTCRY is just a megaphone for what God is already doing in each city it enters. Even the logo, the kid standing at the megaphone, is a depiction of the church. Gods already been doing amazing things through the church. Its happening all around us. But these OUTCRY tour nights are inspiring and refreshing. Encouraging the pastors and church leaders to keep goingto let them know that they are making a difference.
