Dont allow a season to become your life sentence
Imagine a life in which we literally believe God and take Him at His Word, one in which we let the trials and tribulations that hit us roll off our backs. We look at those trials as a life college and learn everything we can through them. We get better, not bitter. When relationships fail, instead of looking at them as our personal failures, we believe rejection is Gods protection and that He wanted the people out of our lives.
The points in this book are all about perception shiftslearning how to take the bad and shift it for our good. Everything happens for a reason, so instead of getting mad at God for not healing our marriages, giving us favor with a promotion, or saving us from bankruptcy, lets look at everything we experience as a means of advancement in our lives.

There are those who write books because they have an idea Real Talk Kim wrote - photo 1

There are those who write books because they have an idea. Real Talk Kim wrote this one because she has a mandate. Her heart is to help you move beyond your stuck situation, and shes uniquely qualified as a result of the painful personal experiences she lived through herself. And shes not afraid to show you her scars.

As her pastor during a tumultuous time in her life, I have seen the transformation from an insecure young woman to a powerfully anointed woman of God. With keen insight and endearing humor, Kim speaks with authority and the redemptive love of God in her newest book, When Your Bad Meets His Good.

As her spiritual father, Im so proud of her and this dynamic message thats touching the hearts of an entire generation. With so much fake news all around us, Kims book is like a breath of fresh air. When Your Bad Meets His Good is transparent, timely, and transformative.

Picture 2

Where do I even begin to give the proper love and honor to my beautiful mom? Mom, you mean the entire world to me. I never dreamed that one day we would be working together writing best sellers. God knew. He directed your path as you retired from pastoring and became available to assist me. Who would have imagined that you would use the writing skills you used at a young age in the newspaper field to assist me in flowing so beautifully?

This is the third book we have written together, and God knew that having a mom-and-daughter team was just what was needed to paint the most beautiful pictures to help millions get free.

I love you to the moon and back a million times, and I am so honored that God gave me the blessing of getting to call you my mom and very best friend. Thank you for being so selfless, devoted, and committed to your family. You are our angel on earth. There is nobody like you, Elizabeth Ann Jones. Thank you! I love you!

ID LIKE TO say thank you to my family, which is the greatest support system in the world. Morgan and Lyncoln, my most amazing gifts from God, I could never have asked for any sons greater than you two. You are my why and my heartbeat. I will spend the rest of my life letting you know in so many ways how much I appreciate your hanging in there with me through my journey. You are two amazing young men!

Mark, you have truly been my gift from God, and I could not be traveling the world and pouring into thousands if you were not my wind in my sails. You allow me to expose my hurts to heal others while supporting me in each step of this journey.

My siblings, Rob and Melissa, brother and sister-in-love, you keep my world in order weekly as I do what I love to do. Dad and Mom, you have always been there for my boys and me and always believed in me. I love you all!

PAIN IS PART of life on earth. When we experience painful seasons, we often begin to question whether God still cares or if He even exists. But truth be told, many times we create our own storms. Then we get mad when it rains.

Thats what I was doing. But after being twice married and divorced, losing my business, and having to move back in with my parents with my two boys in tow, I went on a journey to find God, myself, and my purpose. I chose to no longer blame everyone else for my situation, and instead, I gave God permission to heal my heart.
