Are You Ready to Endure?: summary, description and annotation

We offer to read an annotation, description, summary or preface (depends on what the author of the book "Are You Ready to Endure?" wrote himself). If you haven't found the necessary information about the book — write in the comments, we will try to find it.

What will happen when Jesus comes back? How do we endure persecution, or will we actually have to? Will we be taken out of the world before the great tribulation? The scriptures taken from the Bible that are used within this book will bring clarity to these sought-after questions. There are those that believe in different teachings regarding this; however, could all of them be correct? The author believes that many Christians are being deceived in thinking that they will have a second chance to receive Christ after the rapture. His studies have proved this to be incorrect and a deception from the enemy of our souls.

Preface

I was always taught that the church will be raptured out before the tribulation. However, after years of studying Gods Word my belief on this has changed. I pursued wisdom by asking the Holy Spirit to teach me the truth and to help me understand His Word. The purpose of this book is to share with you what I learned about how Jesus is coming back and what He said about it. Please pray for the Holy Spirit to reveal to you the Truth in Gods Word.

Jesus said in John 14:26 (NKJV)

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit , whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

He also said in John 16:7-15 (NKJV)

Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you . However, when He, the Spirit of truth , has come, He will guide you into all truth ; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come . He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you . All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore, I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.

1 John 2:20, 21, 27

But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things . I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth. But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you ; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him .

Chapter 1

New Covenant with Israel

In this chapter, you will see how the nation of Israel came about and the covenants God made with them.

Genesis 32:28 (NKJV)

And He said, Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed.

God changed Jacobs name to Israel. He had twelve sons, which became the twelve tribes of Israel -- Gods people. God makes a covenant with His people, which is the law. This is our Old Testament.

Exodus 34:27-28 (NIV)

Then the Lord said to Moses, Write down these words, for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel. Moses was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights without eating bread or drinking water. And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant - the Ten Commandm ents.

Since man could not follow the commandments of the law perfectly, God had to make a new covenant with Israel.

A Messiah was needed, God gave four hundred prophesies about His coming. One of them is in chapter 9 of the book of Daniel, God spoke to Daniel about the coming of the Messiah (Jesus).

Daniel 9:24 (NKJV)

Seventy weeks are determined

For your people and for your holy city,

(The Messiah, Jesus will do the following)

To finish the transgres sion ,

To make an end of sins ,

To make reconciliation for iniq uity ,

To bring in everlasting righteous ness ,

To seal up vision and prop hecy ,

And to anoint the Most Holy .

These were fulfilled by Jesus; the New Testament or covenant was given to Israel by Him.

Jeremiah 31:31-34 (NKJV)

Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord. But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days , says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts ; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people . No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord, for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.

Matthew 26:26-29, also in Mark 14:22-25, Luke 22:19-20, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 (NKJV)

Jesus Institutes the Lords Supper

And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, Take, eat; this is My body.

Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant , which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Fathers kin gdom.

Jesus came to bring salvation to everyone in the world.

John 3:16-17 (NKJV)

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be s aved.

He reached out to Israel first, giving them the first opportunity to receive salvation through Jesus Christ.

In Matthew 15:24 (NKJV) Jesus said,

But He answered and said, I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Is rael.

Matthew 10:5-6 (NKJV)

Sending Out the Twelve

These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Is rael .
