TO MY WIFE.

When I look at everything God has spared me from, I see it all illuminated by the warmth of the eyes of my wife, Grace. She really has been a manifestation of her name in my life. I found her when my heart and faith were both shipwrecked on the rocky shores of circumstance and personal failure. Somehow she saw past my weakness and saw me as a much greater man than who I felt myself to be at that moment. Yes, I was and am completely out of my league when it comes to my wife.

I had a dream about her in the sixth grade. In it I was getting married to a short Asian woman in a wedding dress. When I was thirty years old, I saw her across a crowded room at church. Believe it or not, telling someone, I dreamt I married you, isnt the best opening lineunless of course youre in Bible college.
