T his is the sequel to Angel Therapy, a book that changed my life during its writing and creation. However, it is not necessary to first read Angel Therapy to understand, or receive, the full benefits from this book. Messages with Your Angels stands alone.

On the day that I conceived the idea to write Angel Therapy, I sent a one-sentence e-mail message to my publisher, Hay House, telling them about it. Normally, a publisher asks to see a detailed proposal before they agree to publish a book. But amazingly, within hours, Hay House agreed to publish Angel Therapy even though I hadn't sent them much more than a book title. I wouldn't have been able to send them a description of the book in any case-I had no idea what it was going to be about! The angels were clearly guiding and directing the process from above, and my publisher and I were influenced by them.

The first half of Angel Therapy was dictated to me by the angels. I'd sit at my computer, pray, and then go into a semi-trance. It seemed like the angels' words bypassed my conscious awareness and went directly to my fingers typing on the keyboard. I was concerned that the words might be unintelligible, so I hesitated to read the manuscript until it was complete. It was only then that I discovered the angels' sweet and wise guidance, which comprises the first half of Angel Therapy. I learned so much from their words, yet some of their messages were "above" my level of spiritual understanding at that time-not superior to it, but just coming from a higher spiritual consciousness than I possessed. Over time, I gradually understood what the angels were saying, and today, their messages make so much sense to me!

Writing this book, Messages from Your Angels, was entirely different. Several years have passed since I wrote Angel Therapy, and I've been crisscrossing the world, giving workshops in which I publicly channel the angels. As a result, I'm much more comfortable with, and accustomed to, the process.

Just like Angel Therapy, Messages from Your Angels was dictated to me by the angels after I prayed for their guidance. They chose the topics for Part I of this book, and they told me exactly what to write. Each chapter contains material that surprised me when I read it, as this was new information to me in most cases. The angels' logic is amazingly clear, yet refreshingly different from the mortal mind. So, once again, I learned a great deal as the scribe of the angels' communications.

In Part II, I asked the angels a number of questions-many of which I'm frequently asked by audience members, and some that are queries of my own. In this Part, the angels started to respond to me as soon as I mentally asked them the particular question, but sometimes their timing was a little inconvenient for me. For instance, one time when I was jogging through an oceanfront park in La Jolla, California, I decided to ask the angels about the nature and purpose of dolphins. It was no sooner than I mentally posed that question that I heard the angels' wry reply (which you'll read later). I appealed to the angels to "Hold that thought!" until I could return to the laptop computer in my hotel room to type their message.
