These sweet gems of wisdom written by my dear friend Sri Chinmoy are timeless truths full of encouragement, love and goodness. The Jewels of Happiness will inspire you to become who you truly are a shining child in Gods big Family.

In sweet and heartfelt words, Sri Chinmoy tells us that we are made for togetherness, for fellowship, for oneness and for peace. These chapters fill us with indomitable hope and enthusiasm for life.

Indeed, God says to each and every one of us that He has a dream that the world will become good and kind. He asks us to be His arms and legs to make this dream come true. This is the precious message contained in these wonderful pages. You and you and you each and every one of us is called to become the rainbow children we are.

Our spirit tells us that we are made for transcendence. We are not small. We are not helpless. We are vast, and we have everything we need to succeed.

Come, please just say yes to these precious jewels of happiness and to their wonderful invitation. Come, let us make a better and happier life for ourselves and for all our brothers and sisters.

What do you want?

I want peace.

Meditate on the setting sun.

Meditate on the top of a mountain.

Meditate on self-giving.

Meditate on the non-existence

Of expectation.

The Seed of Peace

I n the outer life you cannot have peace unless and until you have first established peace in your inner life. Early in the morning, if you treasure a few divine thoughts before leaving your home, then these thoughts will enter into your outer life as energizing, fulfilling realities.

It is in the inner world that everything starts. The inner world is where we sow the seed. If we sow the seed of peace and love, naturally it will produce a tree of peace and love when it germinates. The peace we bring to the fore from the inner world through our prayer and meditation is very strong, very powerful, and it lasts. When we have that peace in our inner life, our outer life is bound to be transformed. It is only a matter of time.

A moments truth

Can and shall make the world beautiful.

A moments peace

Can and shall save the world.

A moments love

Can and shall make the world perfect.

Beyond the Mind

Peace is our greatest and highest blessing. We think that we can get everything with prosperity; but if we are wanting in peace, then we are the worst possible beggar. We say peace of mind, but actually we do not have peace in the mind. By staying in the mind, we can never have even a glimpse of peace. When we want peace, we have to go beyond the realm of the mind.

How can we go beyond the mind? It is through our constant aspiration. That aspiration will enable us to collect the mind like a bundle and throw it into the sea of the heart. Then we will see that our whole existence will be inundated with inner peace.

It is only through

Inner peace

That we can have true
