PSALM 23 has always been a comfort to me.
It seems we are all his little lambs, and often lose our way.
But The Good Shepherd calls his own sheep by name
and leads them out (John 10:3 NIV). To pasture. To tranquil waters.

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:

he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul:

he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness

for his nam es sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil:

for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me
in the presence of mine enemies:

thou anointest my head with oil;

my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me

all the days of my life:

and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

God watches over me like a shepherd
watches over his sheep. He protects me
and takes care of all my needs.

Thank you, God, for watching over me.

He maketh me to lie down
in green pastures:

I am Gods greatest creation. God wants
me to take care of myself and spend time
resting and enjoying hisgifts.

Thank you, God, for all your blessings!

He restoreth my soul:

When I make a mistake, God forgives me.
When Im lonely or sad, God comfortsme.

Thank you, God, for your unconditional love!

If I follow God he will show me
right from wrong and help me make
decisions that will pleasehim.

Thank you, God, for showing me the way!
