As a child, I prayed the Lords Prayer.
Now that I am a father and grandfather,
I still pray the Lords Prayer. Jesus gave his disciples this prayer to show them how
to speak with God. It has been a delight to meditate on a
profound prayer that is also an interactive poem. As an artist, I found it a great challenge to
illustrate such a pure expression of love and
worship. I experienced joy as I worked on this book. So
much so, that I sometimes felt like I could fly.

My family and
friends helped me by modeling for some of the illustrations
and by their sweet encouragement. The world desperately needs this prayer. It is about
trust, forgiveness, and a fathers love. The Lords Prayer belongs to all the children
of the world, for it begins, Our Father ". Richard Jesse Watson P rayer is just talking to God. Even though we cannot
see God, he is always near, and God loves to hear
our prayers.

We can talk to God anywhere, and we can
talk to him about anything! Whenever we feel sad or
scared or upset, we should talk to God and tell

Our Father which art in heaven, God is my Father in heaven who made me. He will always love me. He will never leave me, so I will never be lonely. Thank you, God, for loving me! Hallowed be thy name. God is good to me, so I honor him. When I do what God wants me to do, he is the King of my heart, and I am filled with joy! Thank you, God, for being great! Thy will be done in earth, God made me for a purpose. When I do what God wants me to do, he is the King of my heart, and I am filled with joy! Thank you, God, for being great! He has a good plan for my life, so I am not afraid. Thank you, God, for your plan! as it is in heaven. Heaven is the happy place where God lives. One day Ill get to live there too, because I love and trust in Jesus, Gods son. Thank you, God, for heaven! Give us this day our daily bread. God has promised to take care of all my needs, so I will trust him and not worry. Thank you, God, for your gifts! And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. When I make mistakes, God always forgives me. So when other people make mistakes or hurt me, I forgive them too! Thank you, God, for forgiving me! And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: God helps me to do what is right and good.

And he helps me to not do what is wrong. I can ask God for help any time! Thank you, God, for protecting me! For thine is the kingdom, I am a part of Gods family, which will last forever and ever! I trust in you, God! and the power, When I am tired, I can ask God for energy and strength! God, please make me strong! and the glory, for ever. Amen. When I trust God completely, it makes him smile!
