To my wonderful husband, who has sacrificed much in order to see this book in its fruition, I would like to thank you immensely from the bottom of my heart. Most of Anikas life can be summed up by the title of this book. Having known her several years before we were married, often our conversations would intrigue me; even though I was a Christian and had seen God at work in my life, there always seemed to be an added reality to her walk with the Father, it was very personal, she even called him Daddy.

Time after time, God would provide for her, often from the most unlikely places. These divine set-ups would cause me to ask how and why, which would usually be met with her usual, Its Daddys goodness or Always go for Gods best.

Anika and I can clearly acknowledge the finger of God on our lives as we have looked back on how events have all fitted together perfectly to produce a greater than expected outcome, with many of these initiated by a slight impression of the heart or leading.

So, stop for a second! And think

What caused you to pick up this book?

Whilst you ponder that, I will suggest to you that whether you know it or not, God has set up a real treat for you in reading this.

In this book, Anika catalogues several of these divide set-ups from her life that will provide you with the sense of her sitting right there, sharing these accounts on how to recognise and hopefully not miss the often still small voice of the Lord and the various ways in which he speaks, plus shows the rewards of living out of his voice with simple obedience.

As you read, the pages of this book may cause the eyes of your understanding to be enlightened and help you to see his presence in every situation and voice before, during, and even after the event. Believe me when I say that theres no such thing as a boring life following the Lord. My hope is that you will be ignited with a keen hunger to live as you were created toa yielded vessel to house the presence of the living God and manifest his nature as a diamond reflects the light. Book Opening

God first told me to write this book at the end of 2009. On enquiring about the front cover, he said mountains. I believe this is to represent living on the edge by faith and was later confirmed when I watched the movie Evan Almighty , where God took Evan on a high Cliff and said, How would you like to live on the edge, son? I chose to put the figure of a man on top of a mountain to signify a persons personal decision to walk by faith.

I started church at the age of four in sister Crozdales ministry, followed by my teen years in Kensington Temple church. I later became a worker and youth-leader in my uncles church Outreach Ministries and my current place of worship is called Revelation. Throughout this time, I have had the privilege of attending prophetic meetings for training in the prophetic office where my gifting lies also.

I have mainly used scripture quotations from The New International Version Bible, as well as a few from the King James and the Amplified Bible. I would also like to note that I use the Hebrew name for Jesus, which is Yeshua, from time to time in this book too. This is the name people of his time would have addressed him by and I hope will be the result of added power to my writings.
