In this book, we see how God concealed in the design of the tabernacle lampstand the 66 books of the Bible. Our Bibles were, designed not by human volition but by divine intervention. Though man decided which books were to be included in what we call the Canon of Scripture, throughout this book we can see that God had already from beforehand ordained and predestined how many books would be included in the Bible and considered as Holy Writ. Moses built the lampstand to the specific details that were shown to him by God on the mountain so that the lampstand could pre-figure the Bible with its 66 books. The Menorah, which is the Hebrew word for the lampstand is proof that God is, the God, who ordains the end from the beginning and that the men who put the Bible together were not acting on their own but were, guided by God when they chose which books were to be included in the Bible and considered as sacred. In this book, we look in detail the specifications of the lampstand that we find in the Scriptures and how God concealed the Bible with its 66 books in the design and construction of the Menorah.

  • Preface

It is with great joy that I write this book to the church of the Lord Jesus Christ. In it I do not pretend to introduce any new revelation, I only bring to light what is already revealed in the Scriptures. Although the revelation of the Scriptures is complete and there are no new revelations, the Scriptures do contain mysteries that remain concealed until we are endowed with wisdom that enable us to see the treasures that God has hidden in His Word. I pray that as you proceed through this book, the Spirit of God will give you a deeper understanding of the Scriptures and therefore a greater love for Christ and Gods Word. The knowledge of God is the means by which all of Gods children acquire everything necessary for a life of holiness and consecration to the Him who called them to Himself. These are the things that prick our hearts and make a long impression in our souls. The Bible is full of examples of Gods wisdom concealed in the form of types and illustrations. In some cases they are direct and clear, but in others, veiled, so that only those who have eyes to see may see. In this book we will look into one of those things.

It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.

(Proverbs 25:2)

In this book we will see how God reveals in the construction of the lampstand how many books in the Bible are God-breathed. The attacks from the devil against the church through the Canon of Scripture have always existed. How many books we ought to accept as inspired by God has been an enigma for many. Since the birth of the church, 2000 years ago, Satans most effective vials of venom have come from the twisting and turning of the Canon of Scripture. Much of the winds of doctrines have come from the pulpit. We would be wise to be alert to the yeast of the Pharisees as the good Lord once told us. Beware. Even though the faith of some has shipwrecked due to the gangrene of false teachers, God has been faithful in sealing the foundation of the church with this inscription The Lord knows them that are His. The amount of books that make up Gods inspired word, has been debated over the centuries, It is my task with this book to show irrefutably, that God designed and predestined the Bible so that it would only have 66 books, 39 in the old testament and 27 in the new. By rule the bible is its own interpreter and that is exactly what it does.

The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.

(Proverbs 16:1)

How many versions of the Bible are there?

The bible versions that have emerged over the years since the beginning of Christianity are approximately 3,300. Every day new translations arise in different parts of the world. Although the original languages in which the books of the Bible were written are only 3, Aramaic, Hebrew and Greek, because of the different languages that exist in the world, man had to translate it to make it accessible to the world. If everyone spoke and understand Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek, there would have been no need to translate. However, so that the scriptures be fulfilled,

And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

(Revelation 5:9)

We have translated the Bible to every tribe and tongue and people and nation. Seeking to spread the seed of the message to all nations in order to gather God in Christ Jesus, and in one body, all his children who are scattered throughout the world and throughout time. This is the mission of Christ, gather into one, all the children of God who are scattered throughout time and place.

And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;

(John 11:51)

And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.

(John 11:52)

The instrument divinely appointed to carry out this work is The Word of God, unlike the term Bible this is the divine and inspired means. Since we have the unfortunate situation of having different versions of the Bible, each professing to be the Word of God, and yet different in content, I must in this book make a difference between these two terms. The word of God is the inspired message within the Bible, I would therefore say that the Bible contains the Word of God. Look at this verse from the prophet Jeremiah,

Therefore thus saith the LORD, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, and thou shalt stand before me: and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth: let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them.

(Jeremiah 15:19)

Because men have added unto the Scriptures their preconceived ideas and own human thoughts into their translations, some bibles have lost the message of God. All that is inspired by God is what in this book I refer to as The Word of God, Although some Bibles contain the word of God, it is necessary to separate the precious from the vile, and this should only be considered as the Word of God. But how do you know the precious from the vile? How to distinguish the word of men from the Word of the Living God? How to separate the chaff from his wheat? God gives understanding and the ability to comprehend the Holy Scriptures. God gives according to his will to whom he wills. We would do well now to ask ourselves the following question,

Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?

(Matthew 20:15)

The purpose of this book is to prove that the number of books that the church should acknowledge as inspired by God are only 66, 39 in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament. I do not need to enter into detail concerning the different versions and translations of the Bible, for my point in this book is not in relation to the various translations (languages) of the bible but in the amount of books that make up the Bible. The Bible as I mentioned earlier, is its own interpreter and as to the number of books that should be part of it, God shows no partiality. The same rule applies. The Bible is the one that testifies to how many books should appear in its index according to the divine design. God in His manifold wisdom, has veiled the specific amount of books in the book of Exodus.
