My Feet, His Fire: summary, description and annotation

We offer to read an annotation, description, summary or preface (depends on what the author of the book "My Feet, His Fire" wrote himself). If you haven't found the necessary information about the book — write in the comments, we will try to find it.

My dear friends, as we try to live our lives in a society where faith is almost prohibited, let us not put God in the back of the bus, and let us not think of God as the one who takes from us. I know God has given you more blessings that you can count, but without our God our life is going to be complicated and meaningless. Let Him show you the way. There are steps and processes that we have to go through in order to achieve our purpose. Let your feet be Gods fire. I encourage you to read this book with an open mind for revelation knowledge. Dont rush the reading process and let the Holy Spirit guide you on this daily walk with God. I know life can bombard us with fear and doubts, but, trust God with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5).

My Feet His Fire When you get up in the morning God gives you an opportunity - photo 1

My Feet, His Fire

When you get up in the morning, God gives you an opportunity. He gives you His fire to conquer the world and not to procrastinate. To procrastinate is to delay or postpone an action. Be determined because your next step is not promised. Stop waiting on later or tomorrow because that might never happen. Start by getting to know yourself. Dont let people act like they know you just because you dont know yourself.

Get to know God. Just because you know scriptures doesnt mean that you know God. Have a relationship with God strong enough that nobody can make you change your mind about Him. Stop saying, Im waiting on a word from God to do something. God is waiting on you to take action. He gives you His Word all the time. What do you do with His Word? Stop procrastinating! Just do it! If you ask God for change, your life will have to change.

Stay dressed for action and keep your lamps burning (Luke 12:35).

Let your feet be His fire.

Can I Empty Myself?

Have you ever felt that you are fine when it comes to others venting their hurts and pains to you, but when it comes to you sharing your hurts and pains to others, you cant do it? The thought comes to you that when you try to share your pain with others, then they wont receive it. You have always presented yourself as this person who they look up to that has it all together and you feel like if you vent, you will disappoint them, and they will see as you weak. All these are lies from the devil! The more we empty ourselves before others, the more we empower others to know that they can overcome their own hurts and pains.

So, I take pleasure in weaknesses, insults, catastrophes, persecutions, and in pressures, because of Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong (Philippians 1:12).

Empower others to overcome! Your story is the key that can unlock someone elses prison. Empty yourself that others may be filled.

Accepting My Cracks

We are living in times where everything is okay and theres no need for changing. We have titles but still have cracks. There are even some people coming to church for spiritual entertainment not spiritual reform. They dont want to be free from bondage or transform, they want to be accepted. We all have cracks, but some people make excuses for their own. They start to believe thats who they are.

Take me for who I am, so they say, but is that really you or is it you saying that you dont want or need to change? You will never be changed in an area that you have accepted. You will always be whatever you accept as your reality. We need changes. We are becoming too comfortable with acceptance that we have stopped trying and believing thats who we are. The word of God is supposed to change you , not you change the word of God .

Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert (Isaiah 43:1819).

Stop resisting the change God wants to do in you. Let Him fill your cracks. Dont build your life on something God is trying to fix.

Traditions

A tradition is a doctrine believed to have divine authority though not in the scriptures in particular. Why is it that a lot of people think that if they sacrifice once a year on Easter, thats all they need to do to make it right with God? Who are we fooling? Is this the only time that we remember the suffering, the death, and the resurrection of Jesus? Or is it better to remember the Easter bunny rather than God because its less pressure and commitment? Lets stop with those traditions, and lets start following God for who He is. Lets give God a little more from us than a tradition.

Dont let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ (Colossians 2:8).

God loves sacrifice, just not more than obedience.

The Greater the Trial, the Greater the Blessing

Sometimes we wonder in certain circumstances where is God. We pray, yet no answer. We fast, no answer. It seems like the more we call on God, the more He doesnt hear our petition. In these situations, this is God calling us to just stand on His Word. God hears every prayer that we pray when we cry out to Him, but sometimes there is a greater work behind-the-scenes that need to be done. Or sometimes the answer is no . God has not turned a deaf ear to you, He is just working on something bigger for you to receive as you keep your eyes on Him .

Be ye strong therefore and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded (2 Chronicles 15:7).

Dont give up on God because He wont give up on you. Stay still . Hes able !

Character

Character is not built overnight, it is developed through a process involving experience, hard work, and learning from past mistakes. To build our character, we are speaking of the process of growing closer to God. To do so, we rely on Him to assist us in our efforts to resist and avoid those things that would cause us to stumble.

Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because Gods love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. (Romans 5:15)

The Bible

Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for Gods promises to be fulfilled (Romans 15:4).

We read so many books to get knowledge and trying to find answers. But the only book that can answer all our questions was written a long time ago and that is the Bible . Somehow the biggest excuse that I hear many people say is, how do I know there is truth in the Bible when its translated in so many languages? Dont let the enemy fool you. The Holy Spirit will give you peace.

You know it came from God because you will have answers to many of your questions. Dont be afraid to touch the Bible, all you need to know is there. Better than Shakespeare or Picasso even Fifty Shades of Gray . Stop running from the truth, get real knowledge, and get to know God . Stop letting people give you their version of their truth. Open the book called the Bible.

Are You Really a Christian?

Do you even try to understand your faith? If I follow you around, will I know that you are a Christian? When I look at your profile on social media, will I know that you are a Christian? Are you living your life as a Christian the way you say? When situations dont go your way, how do you react? Is your reaction showing your Christianity? When its time to serve, do you pick and choose who and how to serve? How considerate are you with others, does it show that you are a Christian? Whether its putting back an item at the supermarket, parking in the right legal spot (not handicap), and even the way you treat a waitress or a maid. What does being a Christian mean to you? Is it only on Sundays?

Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheeps clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits (Mathews 7:1520).

Analyze your Christian life today.

My Way or Gods Way

How many times do we do the same thing over and over and expect different results? We hold on to rituals and traditions, and then we say that we believe in God. Even church becomes a tradition, not a soul changer. At times we do things our way because although we say we believe in God, we dont want to submit to His will. To submit to God is to trust and follow Him even when you dont think His way makes sense. When we dont submit to God, we can fall for these traps:
