Introduction to Feng ShuiTips: Home Renovations
WHY I WROTE THIS BOOK
Power to enrich life from the inside out.

After a few decades of being in one of thelargest consumeristic industries in the world Design andConstruction, I realized that although I adored design, I did notenjoy the buying and destroying cycle which was the standardpractice of the industry. However, during the renovation process, Iwas introduced to the concept of transformation, which has led meon a path to where I am today.

The sheer fact that I was in the middle ofsomething that did not resonate with my core purpose forced me todiscover a new way to use my skills in a manner that did representmy authentic approach to design so I transformed. I surmised thatrenovations were more than just a transformation of a physicalspace from one style, shape, size or color to another. Throughoutthe process, I witnessed the inner transformations of the peopleinvolved in these renovations time and time again. I have hadclients start to play the piano again after 20 years, decide tohave a second child, start their own businesses, and run amarathon. These changes are powerful to witness, and I have felthonored to be a participant in the process of thesetransformations.

This was when I knew I was going to make adifference in the world through my holistic approach to the design, construction and renovation experiences. I added to my toolkit anancient practice Feng Shui that also recognized this innerconnection. It helped me to transform my Interior Architectural andDesign practice into a holistic, transformative approach to spacedesign that was created to help people navigate the tricky businessof Renovations with skill and grace for the best results on theinterior as well as the exterior.

Feng Shui is an ancient practice that createsthe mindful arrangement of an individuals space. The balance andharmony between our internal and external environments is the mainpurpose of Feng Shui. It is a combination of ancient Chinese Taoistculture, Buddhism, and modern science/design used to work with ournatural world to maximize our individual potential. My formaltraining was under the care of Grand Master Professor Thomas LinYuns teachings in the Black Sect, which transforms the fundamentalprinciples of ancient Feng Shui philosophy into a method that isapplicable to the modern world.

My intention is to share with you the secretsof how to allow your Home Renovation to be a transformative processfor you and your family in a manner that you can understand andfollow to provide the greatest benefit.

WHY YOU SHOULD GET THIS EBOOK
What is the quality of yourintent ?

Our world is changing at an ever-increasingrate. The amount of knowledge we are consuming on a daily basis isequal to the same quantity our grandparents got in their lifetime. This inflow of information is continuing, and it is estimated that we are only in the middle of the informationage.

The expansion of our appetite for having itall is a result of the constant barrage of information we areexposed to. Media in general introduces us to all the best thingsin life, expanding our appetites to levels never experiencedpreviously.

Another result of the input of information isthe recognition that having a great space can enhance your life. Iam thrilled that this information has become mainstream and thatmost people are aware of the importance of a great space.

It is thought that if you have a beautifulhome, you will have a beautiful life. The belief that you canimprove your life by surrounding yourself with a prettier space isdemonstrated in the media all the time on TV, in books, magazinesand even in stores. You understand that you will be healthier, happier, have more money, make love more often, and of course justbe a better, nicer and happier person if your space is better foryou, more functional and prettier to look at.

You heard this, you believe this, and nowthere is only one BIG question:

How do you get there as quickly, smoothly andpeacefully as possible without losing money, time or yoursanity?

In Feng Shui Tips: Home Renovations , Ishare a process with you for how to avoid the most disastrousmistakes that are always made on construction projects. I guide youthrough a step-by-step process of how to consciously move forwardinto the direction of your dreams without the fear or doubt ofmaking nasty mistakes that will result in either a loss of money, aspace that does not work, or a stress level that destroys yourwell-being.

I share with you secrets that I have gatheredfrom completing literally hundreds of renovation projects so youcan enjoy the lessons learned from my blood, sweat and tearswithout having to expend these yourself.

My mom used to say that it was a very wiseand rare person who could actually take the advice of another andimplement it into his or her own lives without having to skin theirown knees and learn the lesson themselves.

Given the fact that you are reading thisright now, my guess is you are that wise and special person aconscious being who wishes to use these tools to enhance thequality of your life. Lets co-create the home of your dreams. Letme help you navigate the rocky path through the Home Renovationprocess using the ancient skills from Feng Shui to create apositive and powerful journey and, ultimately, spaces that reflectand enhance your being.

HOW TO GET THE MOST FROM THIS BOOK
Design your space to reflect your bestself.

As part of my journey, I have realized thatpeople get the most of their life experiences when they areactively participating in them. We all have choices to make abouthow we spend our time, energy and money. I believe we make the bestand most authentic choices when we slow down enough to breathedeeply. This allows us the mental space to touch our inner selvesto determine what we want to do.

I recommend that this book be a collaborativeeffort between you and me. The most enriching experiences of mylife have all been co-creations something that was born from thedreams, inspiration, blood, sweat and tears of multiple people. This is one of those things.

Read the book BEFORE you start your homerenovation. Do the exercises honestly and with the necessary timeto get it right. I promise you if you look deeply into yourself andtake the needed time to do this properly, the journey of the homerenovation can be both physically as well as spiritualtytransformative.

Actively participate in designing your life, not only your space. Your space is a reflection of who you are.Make it your best side.
