I F YOU LOOK CLOSELY THROUGHOUT THE B IBLE, YOU can discern a divine pattern. It is always during some critical moment characterized by challenging circumstances that God executes His plan. He looks for a person willing to submit to Him, trust Him, and during the most adverse circumstances, He empowers that person with the divine enablement to overcome.

Ultimately, that individual embraces a particular burden as Gods plan, purpose, and will for their life and through the leading and direction of the Spirit of God, feels morally compelled to act upon that revelation. This revelation becomes their vision, call, purpose, and mission. Such an individual is then in a position where they can be used to positively shape the course of humanity as change agents within their generation. Noah, Moses, Deborah, David, Esther, Mary, Paul the apostle, and many others were such individuals.

According to First Samuel 16:7, God does not look on the outward appearance. Instead, He looks at the heart of the individual. He looks for their willingness to yield their gifts, talents, and abilities to Him and consecrate them for His use.

The anointing ushers us into a realm of divine, supernatural powerthe realm of dunamis. So many people, comparing themselves with others, have unfortunately disqualified themselves from being used by God because they feel they lack the right education, the right looks, the right connections, or any number of other false merits. But God does not select a person by such standards. First Corinthians 1:26-31 (KJV) states:

For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: but God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; and base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: that no flesh should glory in his presence. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: that, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

These are challenging times. These are times of great controversy, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity. What the world needs is not people with more skill sets but people whose skill sets have been refined and consecrated to God by the anointing.

The anointing is a game-changer. David went from being a shepherd boy hidden in obscurity to one of Israels greatest leaders because of the anointing. God is raising up individuals whom He is anointing to address the challenges of this world. God is raising up anointed individuals who: like the sons of Issachar are able to discern times and seasons; like Joseph are able to discern trends and engineer new economies while predicting future outcomes based on a particular course of action; like Esther are able to act decisively to save entire groups of people from impending ethnic cleansing; like Solomon are able to strategically mobilize fiscal and human resources and mastermind national policies that give rise to superpower nations; like Elijah are able to deliver countries from demonic oppression; and like Paul are able to preach the gospel on a global scale.

Throughout Scriptures we are given examples of many people who did incredible things because of the anointing. But the anointing is not just for biblical characters we admire; it is for contemporary believers. And it is not to be used to fulfill a personal agenda, but a divine agenda. The anointing connects the natural to the supernatural so that individuals do what they are neither capable of nor qualified to do without God. The anointing takes the struggle out of serving God and man.

The anointing ushers you into the flow of Gods power so that you are able to do what your gifts are otherwise too crude to do; your education too insufficient to qualify you to do; and your network too feeble to support. Most people who are called struggle to truly maximize their potential because they lack the anointing. The anointing takes the struggle out of ministry, business, and day-to-day living. In this season, nothing will stop, stagnate, or limit you because of the anointing on your life.

Dr. Michelle Corral is one of these anointed persons. I have known her, admired her, and have been blessed by her anointed messages. But more than the messages, I have been inspired by her consecrated lifestyle and by the apostolic and prophetic grace upon her life. As I have watched, listened, pondered, and been blessed by Dr. Corrals teachings over the years, I have become increasingly intrigued by her insight and revelation. The anointing on her life is undeniably authentic, perceptibly pure, and beyond contamination.
