DEDICATION

To my amazing mother, Shirley, who raised me, my sister Samantha, and my brother Safaree all on her own. My inspiration to live a holistic natural lifestyle has been inspired by her from birth. Thank you for your knowledge and your greatness!

To my beautiful sister, Samantha, my brother Devon , and my amazing nieces, Natanya and Naomi . Samantha is one of the most beautiful and intelligent people I know and I always admired that about her.

My other half, Safaree, who is a true inspiration. There are not too many people I know that could have endured some of the things he has and still come out on top. Thank you for continuing to be a true inspiration and showing me not to stress over anything.

My daughter, Melia . Sometimes, I still cant believe I was part of your creation. You are a true miracle. Your happiness, your energy, and your lovingkindness at such a young age are something to be revered. I know you will grow up to be a strong, intelligent, and conscious Queen. My cousin, Sophia , is a true sweetheart. I was plotting to have you kidnapped when I was younger, but I truly love you and you have a big beautiful heart to go with that long belly of yours. I love you Cuzzo! Huge thanks to my other mother, Mary Ms. C Aaron , who takes care of my family and Melia as if she is her own. You have such a huge heart and I thank God that I met you!

Introduction

O ver the years, youve probably put things in your body that are leaving a residue in your system, and are having a negative effect on your quality of life. You are allowing people who either dont know anything about you, or dont care enough to create a health system to benefit you to guide your health. Ladies and gentlemen, thats where I come in. I eat, breathe, and sleep the forward movement of people of color. You have been experimented on and neglected for centuries. America has some of the best medical and scientific advancements of the entire world, but still have the sickest population. Why?

The present work is a result of ten years of research and experimenting; and Im not stopping here. Ive done a lot of trial and error to figure out the perfect cleansing process/diet for family, friends, referred people, and myself. In the first section of this book, Im going to lay out a step-by-step process of four ways to fully cleanse your body before changing your diet. Good health requires commitment, investment, and maintenance. You cant buy good health no matter how rich you are, the amount of degrees earned, or cars you have.

Im not one to use too much fancy scientific terminology because I want to keep it as simple as possible. There will be some science, so please bear with me if this is all new to you. The medical industry wants to confuse you with their fancy words and jargon so you wont question their methods, but I assure you; its much simpler than you think. Most diseases are lifestyle disease and a cure would take profits from one of the biggest industries in America the multi-billion dollar medical/pharmaceutical industry.

The first section of this book is all about melanin, nutrition, and cleansing. I address melanin because its a critical reason why our communities arent functioning at optimal levels. In a doctors office, you cant prescribe the same course of treatment to someone of African/Hispanic descent as you would to someone of European descent. You will soon learn that our bodies are not only different on the outside, but they are drastically different on the inside, down to the blood content. Theres a great misunderstanding about the original diet of our ancestors. That will be cleared up for you in this work because its very important to understand the best diet for an African person to function at peak levels.

The reason you cleanse first is so your body can absorb the nutrients from the nutritious food youre about to put in there. Without cleansing, it gets mixed in with the filth sitting in your digestive tract and doesnt get absorbed properly. Colon issues play an important role in health problems. It is the final filtration process your digestive system sends food through.

According to our medical community, its normal to have a bowel movement anywhere from three times a day to three times a week. Three times a week! Absolutely not, because the food that is not being eliminated is sitting in your digestive tract rotting and turning into toxic waste. Typical foods like pizza, pasta, steak, and white rice have zero fiber, therefore slowing down the transition of the food from your mouth to your butt. Then you start having constipation, indigestion, and other intestinal tract issues. Once your body begins to get clogged up, your other organs will start to be affected and dis-ease will be introduced into your body.

Over-eating, putting food on top of food, processed food, late night eating, and snacking between meals are your first-class ticket to accelerated aging and dis-ease. These habits are destroying our melanin that needs specific nourishment. I dont believe in fad diets or radical approaches because theyre not long lasting and typically arent designed for melanin dominant individuals. What I want to introduce here is for a lifetime. I know a lot of people want the doctor to give them a magic pill to make all their aches and pains go away, but it isnt that simple. A doctors sole function is to keep you comfortable in your disease so you can continuously patronize the pharmaceutical industry.

In the second section of this book, you will learn about the primary reason for debilitating health amongst people of color in America. The reason dates back over 400 years ago to when our ancestors were removed from their continent and brought to North America, South America, and the Caribbean for slave labor.
