CRAIG GROESCHEL, NEW YORK TIMES BEST-SELLING AUTHOR, SENIOR PASTOR, LIFE.CHURCH
Too many of us visit the land of Gods blessing but never live there.
What if what you have grown accustomed to is far less than what God has for you?
What if what you call normal falls tragically short of what you were created for?
What if the difference between you living in Gods best and where you find yourself today is simply your willingness to rise up and fight to experience the new normalHe has for you?
The truth is far too many of us visit the land of Gods blessing but never live there.
We spend much of our lives feeling like we are on the outside of His blessing looking in, but never knowing a sustained experience of Gods best. The reason for our sporadic acquaintance with the fullness of Gods goodness is that we are not willing to wage the battle necessary to inhabit that new normal. This book explores the pathway into the Promise Land that Joshua and the people of Israel trekked and provides spiritual principles for fighting the spiritual battles that unlock a life of walking in Gods best.
In New Normal, John Lindell invites you to join him on a life-changing journey following Joshua and the nation of Israel as they find out what it takes to live in the land of blessing God has prepared for them. Through these pages, you will discover an existence where you no longer view Gods best as a passing reality but as the place where you live.
Experience Gods best for your life!

Powerful Personal Profound In his book New Normal my good friend Pastor - photo 1

Powerful. Personal. Profound. In his book New Normal, my good friend Pastor John Lindell does a fantastic job of leading readers toward rediscovering the promises of God. Drawing deeply from the story of Joshua, Pastor John addresses real tensions we each face as we pursue godly growth. But instead of fixating on the struggles, he shifts our eyes to the Savior, who has gone before us and conquered the Promised Land. There is a possibility of new life in your story, and this book will help you find that.

AUTHOR, THE DANIEL DILEMMA AND OUT OF THE CAVE

Never before in my lifetime have I seen our great, big, beautiful, and broken world this desperate for a new, more hopeful kind of normal. And rarely before have I met a leader more effective than Pastor John Lindell when it comes to being the proverbial straw through which our Creator-Redeemer breathes life back into dry bones. Im a huge fan of everything he writes and preaches, but I think New Normal: Experiencing Gods Best for Your Life may just be his best message yet. Revival, here we come!

LISA HARPER

Gods plan for our lives is always more than we think or imagine. Stepping out of a comfortable season into where God is leading helps us discover this. Pastor Johns timely encouragement to make the decision to walk by faith and experience all that God offers from it is much needed. New Normal will encourage you to take that next step out of the familiar and into Gods next season for you and will teach you how not to miss all that God is currently doing in your life. I pray that New Normal brings you new perspective and a closer relationship with God as He leads you.

TO DEBBIE, MY BEAUTIFUL BEST FRIEND.

YOUR LOVE HAS MADE MY LIFE FULLYOUR JOY HAS MADE IT FUN.

JOHN AND I met around twenty years ago in Kansas City. In all that time, his devotion to loving God and loving people has remained ferventqualities that have shaped him into a great friend and pastor. He has led James River Church alongside his wife, Debbie, for nearly three decades, and together they have built a thriving church. The insight in this book stems from the fruit of his life, which has been entirely dedicated to the cause of Christ and helping others step into their God-given potential.

There has never been a more imperative time to be aware of the reality that we are not solely citizens of this world but more importantly citizens of heaven and children of God through faith in Jesus Christ. In New Normal, John proclaims a timely reminder that the boundaries of the lands and frontiers we are called to occupy are not created by human hands but authored by a generous and loving heavenly Father, who desires to bless His children.

God has a spacious life planned for you that is full of His goodness and blessing. The enemy would love nothing more than to put a question mark over the goodness of God in your life and trick you into thinking and believing small, stunting your ability to see the wonder and possibility of a bright future. The apostle Paul emphasized this in his letter to the Corinthian Church:

Dear, dear Corinthians, I cant tell you how much I long for you to enter this wide-open, spacious life. We didnt fence you in. The smallness you feel comes from within you. Your lives arent small, but youre living them in a small way. Im speaking as plainly as I can and with great affection. Open up your lives. Live openly and expansively!
