Is Your Conscience Condemning You?

What exactly is your conscience? What role does it play in your life? And does it help or hurt you?

In Who Told You That You Were Naked? Andrew Wommack answers these questions and more as he outlines how the conscience affects us. Andrew shares how the vast majority of Christians dont understand how the conscience operates. If they did, they would no longer struggle with the fear, shame, guilt, and doubt that keep them from Gods best.

As you learn about your conscience, youll learn how to walk in greater intimacy with Jesus, how to pray with boldness and confidence, how to receive Gods promises, and how to break free from fear and doubt once and for all.

Receive Jesus As Your Savior

Choosing to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior is the most important decision youll ever make!

Gods Word promises that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Rom. 10:9-10). For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Rom. 10:13).

By His grace, God has already done everything to provide salvation. Your part is simply to believe and receive.

Pray out loud, Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Savior. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!

The very moment you commit your life to Jesus Christ, the truth of His Word instantly comes to pass in your spirit. Now that youre born again, theres a brand-new you!

Receive the Holy Spirit

As His child, your loving heavenly Father wants to give you the supernatural power you need to live this new life.

For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.... How much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Luke 11:10 and 13b

All you have to do is ask, believe, and receive!

Pray, Father, I recognize my need for Your power to live this new life. Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit. By faith, I receive it right now! Thank You for baptizing me. Holy Spirit, You are welcome in my life!

Congratulations! Now youre filled with Gods supernatural power!

Some syllables from a language you dont recognize will rise up from your heart to your mouth (1 Cor. 14:14). As you speak them out loud by faith, youre releasing Gods power from within and building yourself up in your spirit (1 Cor. 14:4). You can do this whenever and wherever you like.

It doesnt really matter whether you felt anything or not when you prayed to receive the Lord and His Spirit. If you believed in your heart that you received, then Gods Word promises that you did. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them (Mark 11:24). God always honors His Wordbelieve it!

Please contact our Helpline (719-635-1111) and let us know that youve prayed to receive Jesus as your Savior or to be filled with the Holy Spirit. We would like to rejoice with you and help you understand more fully what has taken place in your life. Well send you a free gift that will help you understand and grow in your new relationship with the Lord. Welcome to your new life!

Did you know that God is a good God and that He has a good plan for your life? In Jeremiah 29:11, God assures us, I know the thoughts that I think toward you... thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope (New King James Version). Even though this is true, I believe that very few Christians walk in Gods best for them and live the life of blessing and abundance that He has promised all of us. But why is this?

There may be a variety of reasons as to why a person is unable to receive Gods promises, but I believe a major one has to do with the conscience. Have you ever wondered about your conscience? What is it exactly? Where did it come from? What purpose does it serve, and what role does it play in your life? Does it help you or hurt you?

In Who Told You That You Were Naked? I will answer all of these questions about the conscience and more. Ill also discuss how the conscience affects non-Christians and Christians differently and the effect it has on our relationship with the Lord. And I will explain the connection between the conscience and sin and what God has to say about sin in our lives. Its probably not what you think!
