THE ANTIOCH CENTER FOR TRAINING AND SENDING

What if we were to finish the Great Commission in our generation?

We believe that this generation can finish the task of reaching every unreached peoplegroup in the planet with the gospel. We know that this is an ambitious goal, butit is not an impossible goal. Through the leadership of the Holy Spirit, prayer, and the relentless and united effort of the church, we believe that the task of reachingevery tribe, tongue, people, and nation with the gospel is courageously achievable.

The Antioch Center for Training and Sending (ACTS) is a missional community and movementbased out of Colorado Springs, Colorado, that exists to equip and send ten thousandyoung pioneering leaders to finish the task of world evangelization, make disciples, and sing back the King.

We believe that God is building a new student volunteer movement with the potentialto finish the task of world evangelization in this generation. Recognizing that thisdaring ambition will not be completed until the gospel of the kingdom is proclaimedto every tribe, tongue, people, and nation, we have prioritized the 10/40 Windowas our field of action. According to the Joshua Project, of the worlds sixteen thousand-pluspeople groups, nearly seven thousand are still unreached with the gospel of the kingdom. However, the Bible is clear that the gospel of the kingdom must be proclaimed toevery people group of the earth before Jesus will return to establish His kingdomforever. To that end, our ambition is to equip and send young leaders to plant gospel-centered,presence-fueled, prayer furnaces/praying churches among the unreached and least-reachedpeoples of the world. For more information on how you can be equipped and join themovement to finish the task of world evangelization in this generation, please visitour school website: ACTSschool.com.

    2 TIMOTHY 2:15, EMPHASIS ADDED

Now a certain Jew named Apollos... an eloquent man and mighty in the Scriptures...

    ACTS 18:24, EMPHASIS ADDED

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, forreproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God maybe complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

    2 TIMOTHY 3:16-17, EMPHASIS ADDED

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and isa discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

    HEBREWS 4:12, EMPHASIS ADDED

The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.... But Simon Peteranswered Him, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.

    JOHN 6:63, 68, EMPHASIS ADDED

    Approach God

When we approach the Bible, we are approaching God Himself. In His infinite wisdomthe Lord has determined to reveal Himself through the Scriptures. Thus, the Bibleis not a mere historical curiosity or like any other book. The words are alive andpowerful because they testify of Jesus, yet so few of us actually encounter the livingGod through His words of life. While the Scripture is objectively powerful, its purposeis to cause us to encounter Jesus.

You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and theseare they which testify of Me. But you are not willing to come to Me that you mayhave life.

    JOHN 5:3940, EMPHASIS ADDED

    Open your eyes

When I struggle to read through the Scripture, I pray the prayer of Psalm 119:1820.The Lord will graciously empower you to not only endure the Scriptures, but alsoto love and desire His Word at all times.

Open my eyes, that I may see

    Wondrous things from Your law.

    I am a stranger in the earth;

Do not hide your commandments from me.

    My soul breaks with longing

For Your judgments at all times.
