In the same way that The Indigo Children was a phenomenon that was much talked-about, before the book came out and explained it, Earth Angels is a topic of much discussion among spiritually minded people world-wide. Four years ago, Doreen Virtue wrote an article on the topic, and then a chapter in her book, Healing with the Angels, and then more information in Healing with the Fairies. Since that time, Doreen has been flooded with letters from people who resonate with the idea, requesting more information. Earth Angels will be the first book devoted to the topic. This is not your average book of angel stories, nor a book about angels in the ordinary sense of the word. While people usually think of Earth Angels as do-gooders, this book takes the term literally, as youll soon see. The material in this book may surprise or even shock those who are accustomed to a more mainstream view of angels.
Some people may mistake the books intention, thinking that it supports the idea of separation into groups. Yet the information Im presenting is merely a description of the personality-related, behavioral, and physical characteristics of angels, similar to the type of information found in astrology books. Those who are Earth Angels will relate to the concepts in this book; however, others may misunderstand or even object to the material herein. My intention is to help and to heal, but sometimes such actions create controversy.
All of the stories in this book are true, and all of the individuals whose accounts are included here have given written permission for their stories to be published. The names in the book are also real, with the exception of three people who requested a pseudonym, and two who asked that only their initials be published. Im very grateful to all of them for coming forward and telling their stories, as they have enriched us with their experiences.
Are You an Earth Angel?
D o you feel different from other people, as if you were dropped off on this planet and wonder when someones coming to take you home? If so, then you may be an Earth Angel. If you have a passion and talent for healing, teaching, or helping others, yet you yourself have substance-abuse problems, weight issues, relationship challenges, and the like, then you may be an Earth Angel. If youre highly sensitive and you abhor violence in any form, then you may very well be an Earth Angel!
An Earth Angel is a soul with non-Earthly origins. Although all souls originate from the same Divine source, our environment and personal history often shape our personalities and physical characteristics. For instance, those who spend most of their time surfing at tropical beaches will have different looks and mannerisms than people who hole up in their inner-city offices every day.
Similarly, all of the lives youve previously lived have impacted you. And, just as your physical family-of-origin influences you, so does your souls family-of-origin shape your looks, behavior, and even your lifes purpose. Again, the inside of everyone is the same: a beautiful, pristine spark of Divine light. However, as a lightworker, your spark of light may have spent time in heavenly realms far from our Earth. Those lifetimes that youve logged in the angelic realm, the elemental kingdom, or on other planets have influenced who you are today. Although you inhabit a human body, your soul feels like a traveler in a foreign countrybecause that is, in essence, what you are.
Not everyone is an Earth Angel, of coursefor this role, God called in the biggest and brightest sparks of light for the transition to the New Age of Peace. Those humans who arent Earth Angels are living lives purely for their own growth, rest, or enjoyment. They may seem dense or decidedly unspiritual, yet theyre Divine sparks of life, too. Their lives have simply been dedicated to human, Earthly concerns.
