F OREWORD

W e are living in an age of amazing and increasing revival. It is a time of great supernatural awakening.

Carol and I were surprised and overwhelmed by the Holy Spirit as God poured out the renewal known as the Toronto Blessing almost two decades ago. It has been our privilege to be a part of stewarding a wonderful move of God that has touched the nations with the Fathers love and has awakened the Church to step into His glorious presence. Among the people that we have known who have helped steward the ongoing move of the Holy Spirit are Mahesh and Bonnie Chavda. The Chavdas carry a rare gift to interweave anointed biblical teaching with living testimonies from their own life and ministry that impart faith, love, and hunger for more of God.

The Power of the Cross: Epicenter of Glory is born out of real-life encounters with the God of glory day by day. We love the presence and miracles of God. During the outpouring in Toronto, the Holy Spirit came and revealed the Fathers love; Christ and His cross are the only and supreme doorway to Gods love and power outpoured and experienced personally. The cross of Jesus is the epicenter of supernatural encounter, change, healing, and joy. Through the cross to the resurrection of Christ, to Heavens throne and back again to earth, the Holy Spirit is working. A return to fresh encounter with the reality and centrality of the Christ and His cross is the doorway into the next great move of His Spirit. We invite you to step into the ever-unfolding story of His glory. I NTRODUCTION

W hen I (Mahesh) was a poor college student attending Texas Tech, I made my way to Dallas to go to a weeklong seminar. I did not have two pennies to rub together, so I was thrilled when I happened to run into a family I knew from Lubbock in the midst of the huge crowd of people. They were staying at a friends house and were kind enough to say that I was welcome to join them. I was grateful to have a place to stay and did not mind the idea of sleeping on the floor somewhere for the week.

On the first night I went home with these people. We walked into a beautiful house and a lovely woman met us at the door. My friends introduced me, saying, This is our friend from Kenya who is studying here in America right now and needs a place to stay for the seminar. Can he sleep on the floor or the couch somewhere? The lady of the house looked straight at me and said, No. I gulped. Then she continued, No, hes not going to sleep on the floor or on the couch, hes going to sleep in our master bedroom, and my husband and I will sleep on the couch. I tried to refuse, saying I was happy to sleep on the couch. She said, You cannot stay unless you sleep in the master bedroom. So I said, OK.
