During the world premiere of The Moses Code movie, an angry audience member challenges James Twyman in a very unusual way. She says that his ideas surrounding the story of Moses and the name given to him by God, I AM THAT, I AM, are incomplete.

It wasnt a comma that unlocked the secrets of creation, but a Yud, the most sacred letter in the Hebrew alphabet (which looks very much like a comma). Thus begins Twymans quest to discover the true meaning of the Sacred Names of God, leading him to an adventure in Paris that changes his life forever.
Within these pages, James enters the world of the ancient Kabbalah, the mystical teachings of Judaism, and realizes that the rabbit hole goes far deeper than he thought. Join James and Phil Grubera friend and spiritual teacher who decides to initiate this incredible journeyas they travel to ten of the most sacred sites in Paris, unlocking the secrets found in the many Names of God and revealing lost teachings that may change the world.
Written in the style of a high adventure such as The Da Vinci Code and The Celestine Prophecy, this is an unforgettable book that will draw you into a world of intrigue and Kabbalistic lore.

T he greatest lessons we learn usually come through the adventures that shape and change our lives. This adventure, the one I describe in this book, came upon me as a great surprise. I didnt set out to do any of the things youre about to read, nor did I initially think that they would result in a book that others might find valuable. But the more I sat with it and reflected on the details of those two amazing days in April 2008, the more I realized that this adventure wasnt meant for Phil and me alone. It was nice having a partner in the journeysomeone to not only share the remarkable details with, but to also verify them later. A witness is a good thing to have when recounting something so extraordinary.

As stated on the front cover, this is a true story, but for some that may be hard to believe. Im lucky to have traveled around the world as a Peace Troubadour and to have had many such adventures, but there still may be those who read these words and think, Come on, did that really happen? The answer is yes, but as much as I want it to be that simple, it isnt. Many of the events that took place and which I describe are subjective in nature, meaning that they were my own personal experiences. If you were there with us, you may have had a different experience altogether, but thats the way things usually are.

Many of us have heard this famous example: five people witness the same car accident but report the details in completely different manners. Its human nature. But theres also a deeper truth, and that is what Im more interested in portraying here. A number of the experiences youre about to read will seem amazing and perhaps even unbelievable, but the truth behind them all is the same: we currently have the opportunity to use this universal wisdom to change the world and inspire lasting peace. The only question that remains is, Will we accept the challenge?

I met Phil Gruber 12 years ago and have called upon him many times for support and wisdom. Since then he has developed his own audiencepeople who, like me, have realized the scope and importance of his vast knowledge and profound intellect. Its hard to say what his special focus may be since he seems to know a great deal about any spiritual topic one might mention. If you were to ask for a spiritual dissertation on the historical importance of the Knights Templar, he would be able to lecture for days, or if you wanted to know more about the varied incarnations of the Divine Feminine throughout the last 300 years, it would be the same. To say that he is an interesting character would be an understatement. His sense of humor is infectious, and his grasp of spiritual matters is profound, but its his friendship that has meant the most to me.

I was concerned when I heard that hed endured another serious bout of depression and almost hesitated calling him for his thoughts on some puzzling questions I was presented with (which I describe in the first chapter). However, as soon as I mentioned my dilemma, he shot into action, and youre about to read the results. From the moment Phil showed up in Geneva to the final conclusion of this story in Paris, he was instrumental in orchestrating one of the most incredible experiences of my life. I also hope that youll enjoy getting to know him in these pages as much as Ive enjoyed having him in my life. Without Phil, none of it would have been possible.
