And Jesus said to him, Foxes have holesand birds of the air have nests, but the son of man has nowhere tolay His head (Matthew 8:20; KJV).
I find this statement to be beautiful. Let metell you why. In the original Greek text, the word for lay in theabove scripture is a very unique one. It is KLINO. The only other place it was used in reference toJesus was when He rested His head on the cross; so when Jesushad received the sour wine, He said, It is finished! And bowingHis head, He gave up His spirit (John 19:30; KJV).
The bible says, and bowing His head, Hegave up His spirit. The Greek word translated as bowing hereis KLINO. Beloved, this means that itwas only at the Cross that the Son of Man finally found a place torest His Head. Jesus found His rest in loving us and sacrificingHimself for us.
THOUGHT LINE: because Jesus KLINO on the cross; I have all the best things of thislife.
Beloved, He found rest in dying for you andme and in giving us life: the very life of Yahweh which is given tothose who believe in Him. Jesus found His rest in absorbing allyour sins - past, present, and future - and thus, He gave you andme His divine righteousness! What a divine exchange that happenedat the cross of Jesus Christ! (See; 2 Corinthians 5:21).
Friend, your Savior found His true rest whileHe screamed, My God! My God! Why hast thou forsaken me? Hefound rest in those three hours of darkness on the cross, while Heabsorbed all your sicknesses, poverty, bondage and negativities. Hefound absolute rest in dying in our place the Just for theunjust. And He, through His finished works, has given you to enjoythe best things of life in abundance.
Say this with me: BECAUSE MY SAVIOR JESUSCHRIST TOOK MY PLACE ON THE CROSS, GOD IS FOR ME TODAY; GOD IS FORME TOMORROW; GOD IS FOR ME FOREVER!

So when Jesus had received the sour wine,He said, It is finished! And bowing His head, He gave up Hisspirit (John 19:30).
The bible says, and bowing His head, He gaveup His spirit. The word rendered as bowing here is the Greekword KLINO. The only other place it isused in reference to Jesus was when Jesus told a potential disciplethat, Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but theSon of Man has nowhere to lay His head(Matthew 8:20:KJV). The wordlay here is the same Greek word KLINO.
Beloved, the King of Glory, before the cross, said He had no place to rest His Head on. He is the word madeflesh. Without Him nothing could have been made. He created theuniverse, including the foxes with their holes and birds with theirnests. Nevertheless, for Him, the cross was the only place He foundto rest onKLINO - for the first time.
THOUGHT LINE: Jesus rested (KLINO) at the Cross to give you the superior andsuper-abundant Zoe life.
My dear, for Jesus to have KLINO at the cross shows that the reason He did notKLINO before the cross was that He so loved andloves you and me. Thus when He said, the Son of Man has nowhereto lay (KLINO) His head, and later we see Him, at the Cross, bowing (KLINO) His head, He gave up His spirit, clearlyshows us that Jesus was saying to us; I will not rest until Ishall have solved the sin, sickness and poverty problem for you onthe cross! Jesus was saying; my meat is to do my Fatherswill. And His Abba's will was to give His Son, Jesus -Heaven's best - on the cross, as the sacrifice that takes away thesin of humanity! He was saying; my true rest will be found inthe divine exchange!
Beloved, this divine exchange took place atthe cross - He took your place and gave you His own place! He diedand gave you Zoe (life). He took the Psuche life (naturallife) away and gave them that believed in Him the Zoe life!
This Zoe life is the very life of God! Thislife is not subject to sickness, death or poverty! This life issuperior in quality and super-abundant in quantity! In Christ youhave Zoe!
Say this with me: I HAVE ZOE! I HAVE THE LIFEOF GOD IN ME! THUS, I MANIFEST VITALLY THIS SUPERNATURAL ANDSUPERIOR LIFE IN MY FINANCES, HEALTH, FAMILY AND ALL THAT CONCERNSME IN JESUS NAME!
