AARON WAS A GOOD HELPER.
Aaron had a very special younger brother. His name was Moses. When God gave Moses a big job to do, Aaron helped him do his work. God told Moses to go to Egypt and tell Pharaoh to free the Israelites.
Since Moses said he wasn't good at speaking in front of others, Aaron went along to help. He had a wonderful speaking voice. Together, Aaron and Moses told Pharaoh the message from God: "Let my people go!"
I WILL BE A GOOD HELPER.

ABEL DID WHAT
PLEASED THE LORD.
from
GENESIS 4
Two sons of Adam and Eve were very different from one another. Cain was the oldest son. He was a farmer, and Abel was a shepherd. But that wasn't the only difference. Abel pleased God by doing what was right. Cain did not!
When it was time to give God an offering, Cain did not give his best to God. But Abel did! Abel knew that God should get only our best. He gave God the best from his flock. God was pleased with Abel!
I WILL DO WHAT PLEASES THE LORD.
What Pleases the Lord
Live as children of the light.
Find out what pleases the Lord.
Heroes find out what pleases God, and they do it! God is pleasedwhen we obey His word.
Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness on one will see the LORD. HEBREWS 12:14
ABIGAIL WAS A PEACEMAKER.
Abigail had a foolish husband named Nabal. He had insulted David, a leader of Israel. This made David so angry that he planned to kill Nabal. When Abigail heard about David's plan, she took food to him to make peace for Nabal.
Even though Nabal was wrong, Abigail helped David to see that it would be wrong for him to kill Nabal. David's heart was changed. Abigail had brought peace to an angry leader!
I WILL BE A PEACEMAKER.
Live in Peace
Make every effort to live in peace
With all men and to be holy.
Heroes are peacemakers who help others to get along. God haspromised to bless the peacemakers!
The LORD is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made. PSALM 145:13
from
GENESIS 12, 15, 22
ABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD.
God made three very important promises to Abraham. One, God promised Abraham his own country. Two, God promised Abraham a son, even though he was very old. And three, God promised Abraham that the Messiah would come from his family.
Even though these were big promises, Abraham believed God would do what He said! That is why he is called "the father of all who believe." And yes, God kept His promises. Abraham's country was called Canaan, his son was called Isaac, and the Messiah was called Jesus!
I WILL BELIEVE GOD.
The Lord Is Faithful
The Lord is faithful to all His promises
And loving toward all He has made.
Heroes believe God. It's not enough to believe in God. We mustbelieve that the promises of God found in the Bible are true.
Work ... with all your heart, as working for the LORD, not for men. COLOSSIANS 3:23
from
JENESIS
ADAM WORKED FOR THE LORD.
After God made the earth and all creatures, big and small, He created Adam. He placed him in a perfect garden home. But Adam needed something to do, even if it was a perfect place. So God gave him a job!
The world was filled with animals that had no names. It became Adam's job to name them. So one by one, the animals came. "I'll call you hippopotamus," Adam may have said. "And I'll call you monkey." Adam named them all, a job well done! After all, he was working for the Lord!
I WILL WORK FOR THE LORD.
Working for the Lord
Whatever, whatever you do,
Work at it with all your heart,
As working for the Lord and not for men.
