Testimonials

"Anne Elmer's riveting series of divine visitations by the Lion of Judah are nothing short of phenomenal. Having heard her account first-hand several times, I am still undone each time I hear it. Now published, readers will find these visitations C. S. Lewisian in cadence and symbolization and yet deeply personal and enormously relevant for the Body of Christ today. Anne's own life born in Britain and transplanted by design to a village near Versaillesis an open book of integrity and servanthood which make an endorsement of this publication a joy and privilege. Ride along with Anne on the back of the King as He takes you to churches around the world, removing veils, freeing hearts and minds, and convicting the cold-hearted... I guarantee you will fall in love with Him all over again."

"I was riveted as I read this true story. Anne's story of her visitations from the Lion of Judah is awesome. The lessons that she learned, on the trips that the Lion took her on, have changed my perspective on many things especially concerning the church and judging God's people. I would recommend this book to young and old alike. You will love it!"

Derene Shultz Albany, Oregon

"Anne, and her husband Malgwyn , are true servants of the Lord. Their loving-kindness and humbleness have greatly impacted my life. When I heard this account first-hand from Anne, and then later reading it, my life has been touched, and my perspective of the Father has really changed including about His love for me, and for the Church. You will truly get a deeper revelation of the Lion of Judah, the almost unbelievable kindness of the Father, His patience and goodness towards each person on earth both the saved and the unsaved. And yet, in the midst of His kindness, He is still Almighty, Powerful, and Sovereign. This story demonstrates that everything happens according to HIS will, and His PERFECT timing. Be prepared to be encouraged, have your 'God perspective' changed, and your love to grow!"

Tawny Shultz Albany, Oregon

"I really enjoyed this and appreciated the 'HEART' of Anne's journey as she traveled and soared with the Lion of Judah, Jesus Christ. I often experience the Lord in similar ways, and it was very refreshing to hear of her profound and amazing adventures. This is a great read and helps to demonstrate how actively the Lord is at work in all of our lives. Anne gives us a unique look and insight at the Creative Beauty of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

"What really impacted my heart was Chapter 17The Working Christian. I actually got a little teary eyed over this part.

"Quote: 'Jesus: But Christian if you had come with me, we could have flown together, and you could have sown your seeds from a great height and the Holy Spirit would have carried them and planted them in good soil, in ground that I have already prepared. And if you had flown with me you would have been refreshed and renewed and not so tired now.

Ah well, maybe tomorrow!'

("'Hmm, I wonder how many times the Lord has said that to me,' I thought.)

"I find that often in our Christian lives, myself included, we get too busy to do 'God Stuff' and forget to spend quality intimate time with our Creator. Sometimes the Lord just wants us to delight in Him as He delights in us. I think the Lord likes to have fun with us as we soar in prayer, praise, and worship, but He also likes to go play with us as well. I often take long hikes with the Lord where we walk, talk and laugh together. In fact, the Lord has given me some amazing prophetic words during these times spent with Him. And oh, by the way, I usually have a divine appointment or two along the trail ways where the Lord will divinely intervene in someone's life. And I always come away renewed, strengthened, and energized through these wonderful times spent with the Lord. The Joy of the Lord is truly our strength!

"Well, I think I am about due for another hike. Thanks Anne, and keep up the great work. I look forward to hearing more of your times spent with the Lion of Judah."

"Transported By the Lion of Judah is truly a prophetic word from the Lord to the Body of Christ for today. Don't take off on a 'rabbit trail' by trying to determine whether or not Anne Elmer was actually transported, and miss the powerful message that the Lord will give you through this book. The significance of that is so minimal compared to God's message. This book helped me more than any other to see and understand the love that the Lord has for people as He looks at their hearts and motives. God is so much less rigid and more tolerant than I have seen Him or than the 'church' has taught Him to beand certainly more than I have learned to be. This book brought me into repentance of my own intolerance and rigidness of other denominations, and people in general, who are seeking God. I was surprised to see how much hardness I had in my heart. Being a 'good Christian' for many years, I knew it was wrong to be unloving to people in other denominations and outside the church. I had only deceived myself. I will never look upon people the way that I have in the pastPraise God! Through the renewing of my mind, I have seen a more loving God than I have ever known Him to be. As the time nears for Christ to return for His bride without spot or blemish, He is calling us to obey His command to truly love one another, as He loves us."

Transported By the Lion of Judah

By Anne Elmer

Experience first hand this amazing account as Jesus, the Lion of Judah, transports a lonely hospital-bound woman from her place of infirmity into a nearly worldwide trip to finally see the Church, and many outside the Churchthrough the eyes of Jesus Himself. Prepare to have your view of "The Church" changed forever, and I mean it!

Prologue

I was bom in a small industrial town in Lancashire, and I was brought up to go to church on Sunday mornings and Sunday school in the afternoons. It was our parish church and part of the Church of England. I didn't know it then, but I do now, that "Church of England" can include anything from "low" to "high!" That means there is a wide spectrum of ways of worshipping. Some are very plain and simple and some are very Roman Catholic in style. The type of church depends on the traditions and also the preferences of the minister in charge at the time.

My church was of the "low" variety, which meant that they had very little decoration in the form of brass candlesticks and gold crosses, and the services had a minimum of ritual. There was a great emphasis on evangelism, and from time to time there were pulpit thumping sermons on being "born again."

My own family didn't agree with these outbursts, had a particular objection to the expression "being born again," and assured me that it was sufficient to go to church, say your prayers every evening, and be a "good girl!"

There was an active youth group, and in spite of the differing ideas between home and church, I became an active member (although I believe I was too pious at times and gave my family a hard time by becoming "religious!")

Through further education and on into my marriage, I continued to be an active member of the local Anglican church, wherever I was living, carrying a certain amount of my religiosity with me. Although I must say that I was as sincere as I knew how to be.

In 1983 the Lord intervened dramatically in the life of our family. We then had three children, aged 14, 13, and 7. We moved to France where we became members of St. Mark's Anglican church in Versailles. There we met people who talked about Jesus as though He sat down to supper with them, and we recognized how little we knew the Lord personally. Our relationships with him as individuals, as well as in the family, have been growing ever since.
