Dedication
This book is joyfully dedicated to the faithful God that enables and rewards those that diligently seek Him.
To my father, J.O for shaping and keeping me straight. To my mother, Josephine for her faithfulness to God, steadfast prayers over us, and encouragement to me.
To the men and women, some now gone, and others who are still faithfully and joyfully serving our God that never forgets the labor of love of His saints.
This book is specially dedicated to the unnoticed laborers that labor in deed and prayers, day and night. To them I say: GREAT is your reward!
Acknowledgements
First of all, I would like to thank the Lord Jesus Christ for providing me with the wonderful privilege to preach the Gospel to His wonderful people. This privilege has spanned twenty nine years in various places, for and with powerful results.
I am greatly indebted to many people, amongst who are my parents. I thank you both for the Godly foundation you instilled in me; to my precious mother (Josephine Abeni Babatunde) for showing me what true service is. The Spirit by which you served made a lasting impact in me. You possess such Godly virtues, and you still live them out till this moment.
To my father: Joshua Babatunde. You taught us how to be honest, living with dignity and never being ashamed of a good name. Daddy, thank you.
To My Siblings, what a home to belong to!
Deep and heartfelt thanks go to my gorgeous, loving wife, Folayemi, for your unwavering passion to seeing that I communicate the message of the Kingdom in a unique way to the World. Thank you for standing with me and believing in me and the Passion for the Kingdom message in my heart. Your faithfulness allows the Message to burn greatly in me. Your Spirit of excellence is indeed unwavering.
To my children: Erin and Teni. Erin you kept me on my feet about this book, assisting and encouraging me with such passion to seeing this book reach many. Teni, I am excited and happy to have a son of consolation like you.
To My Christ Temple Family: For your dedication, encouragement and diligence, I salute you all. Without your faithfulness, I could not boast of a more fulfilling platform for expressing the Message that God has put in my heart.
Timothy Babtunde
Foreword
There is no doubt in my heart, one of the most important truths that needs to be taught and restored in the 21st century Church is the message of living in the light of Eternity.
The content of our ministry and messages today is centered around things that are temporal, passing and materialistic. We have simply lost the eternal dimensions of our Christian faith! Needed at this hour is a clear prophetic voice that will correct this anomaly. This is what Pastor Timothy Babatunde has done in this book REWARD - A Biblical Perspective.
The Bible is a book of rewards, the message of the New Testament is centered around rewards! Our Lord reiterated throughout the gospels that when he comes the second time, he is coming, not as a lamb, but as a judge to reward both the righteous and unrighteous for their works.
If you need a book that will both inform, inspire and educate you on this all important subject, look no further. This book is both scriptural and practical, filled with life experiences. I highly recommend this work to all believers as well as those who belong to the five-fold ministry.

And behold I come quickly, and my reward is with me, to give everyman according as his reward shall be
Revelation 22:12 (King James Version)
Behold I am coming soon and I shall bring my wages and rewards with me to repay and render each one, just what his own actions and his own work merit.
Revelation 22:12 (Amplified Translation)
And The Winner Is.!
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didnt do more than the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

American Writer and Lecturer
What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.
Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882)

The hall was filled to capacity. The tension was so palpable that it could be felt. Parents had gathered for the award ceremony and valedictory service of their wards school. Expectations were high, but fears were even higher. Most of the prizes had been given out, and it was between both of them. It seemed as if there was an unwritten code of engagement between them to determine who would emerge the victorious gladiator. Erin Margret possessed a pleasant, but unusual blend of beauty, grace and academic excellence. She also exuded an air of confidence blended with an uncanny matured disposition that made her a favorite, not only amongst her classmates and juniors, but won a lot of admiration from the boys. David Ronald on the other hand, was a born leader. He redefined the word multi-tasking. He excelled academically, while holding helm admirably in various social, sports and community activities. He was almost everywhere, and would still have time for his books. His grades had been on the high side right from his first term and he never let go. His dynamic leadership qualities would steer the school to their third consecutive Championship title at the Science Fairs Quiz Competition, despite Erin Margret being on the same team. David always started well and finished strong. In fact, they both had sterling qualities and phenomenal track records. Their reputation was so intense that word went round about how the teachers and members of the Student Representative Council were at a stalemate as to who would go home with the grand prize. It was one prize, one cup, one winner. It had always been. This was the tradition. A tie was out of the question. Incidentally, no one could bet as to who would emerge the winner. Their track records were just too neck-to-neck.
The moment of decision had finally arrived. The silence in the room was deafening. In what seemed like eternity, the Principal approached the podium with deliberate steps, while everyone watched and waited with rapt attention. He walked up to the podium and took position in front of the microphone, surveying the tense, but eager audience. In a fleeting moment, he recalled to the audience what happened the last time this tension was experienced at such a similar occasion. It was about eight years ago; between Kayla and Ola. The rest as they say is history. The Principal once again surveyed the audience and observed their reactions as he said those words. This time, the contest was between Erin Margaret and Paul Ronald. Who would it be this time? There is only one way to find out. With those words and hands shaking, he slowly opened the envelope with a well-rehearsed deliberate sequence. Even with the tension that was making his hands tremble, he was thoroughly enjoying the suspense and the build-up being enacted. With a steady gaze at no one in particular, he looked at the audience, tapped the microphone and announced, The Choice Award for the Overall Best student goes to......
