The content in this book was originally written for a site called The Proper Villains. The site was brilliant in its use of infotainment and the villain theme to teach vital self-improvement life lessons for men. (Ranging from how to attract women, to investing, to firearms, and everything in between.)

Anyway, my villain alter ego was Rood and I wrote mostly about success, mindset, persuasion, and business-related topics. The most important thing I wrote was a 10-part series on how to become a charismatic and influential Villain. Everything you need to know to be attractive, persuasive, respected, wealthy, and even admired by others was in those articles.

Unfortunately, the site has mysteriously vanished. At the time of this writing, all the articles, content, and lessons were wiped clean from the Internet. You cannot find them archived or cached anywhere. And, I have no idea if the site will ever return.

Fortunately, I saved my articles and am reprinting the 10-part series (with slight modifications) here in this short, easy-to-read book. This content has made a dramatic difference in my life. And, I believe it can do the same for you, too.

Enjoy

Ben Settle

AKA Rood

Who Is Rood?

The authorities are aware of Roods Villainous ambitions. And it amuses him how they can do nothing to stop him, because he masterfully uses a loophole in the law that says its not illegal to plan to take over the world, since no crime has (yet) been committed.

Rood is an entrepreneur, author, and self-described Anti-professional. He is also a master of influence and persuasion, and spends all his time in his lair writing books, newsletters, and twisted monster novels to finance his world domination plans.

Rood makes no attempt to hide his real identity, his business dealings, or his mission to force the world to submit to his authority. He openly mocks his hero enemies, and the planets leaders, military, and police are terrified of the coming day when he decides to make his move...

Introduction:
The Most Influential Guy in the Room

hes the guy on his horse, the guy alone. He has his own code of honor, his own code of ethics, his own rules of living, man. He never, ever tries to impress the women but he always gets the girl.

Dex

The Tao of Steve

Several years ago, I was introduced to an unusually persuasive Villain through business.

There was nothing special about him at a glance. In fact, he had below average looks (balding, short, a bit of a gut). He was no more intelligent or better dressed than any other person youd meet on the street (if anything, he dressed kind of goofy and said he barely graduated high school). And, he wasnt handed any advantages by birthright (he grew up in a lower middle class home).

In many ways, he seemed like the epitome of common.

Yet, he was one of the most uncommon men I ever met.

By that I mean, things just fell into place for him.

Everyone respected him (even his enemies). Colleagues and business partners eagerly submitted to him. Beautiful women went out of their way just to be around him. And, people practically stood in line to talk to him, befriend him, and help him if he asked for it.

He was truly a powerful man.

And, he had everything a guy could want:

Money

Fame

Power

Respect

Influence

Adventures

Dames

Opportunity

Privilege

Submission

Access

Even knowledge denied other men

Now, you may be wondering... what was this otherwise average mans secret to obtaining such power and influence? And (even more importantly) how can YOU achieve the same?

The answer: Charisma.

The definition of charisma is:

1. Compelling attractiveness or charm that can inspire devotion in others.

2. (pl. charismata |-mt| ) (also charism |karizm|) a divinely conferred power or talent.

If theres one attribute that differentiates a true Villain from the masses of schlubs and wannabes its charisma.

If you have charisma the world will hand you (on a solid gold platter) anything you want. In fact, once you gain this mysterious power denied the vast majority of ordinary men, you will find things mysteriously fall into place for you, too. Job promotions are handed to you with little or no effort. Dames you want pursue you, instead of you pursuing them. Money problems vanish seemingly overnight. Customers in business buy from you without hesitation. People in your social life are eager to become your minions and henchmen, to be used at your disposal. Persuading others to do your bidding becomes as routine and effortless as ordering a burger. And conquering the world becomes a tangible, attainable goal.

All of which begs the question:

How can you become charismatic?

Below are ten secrets of extraordinarily charismatic Villains. Each has been wielded like a weapon of mass influence by the greatest Villains in history. And, by making them a part of your everyday life you can start enjoying the fruits of being a charismatic Villain, too with the world as your oyster in weeks and months, instead of years and decades.

Here they are:

1. Bow only at the altar of your mission

2. Nix all neediness

3. Pay yourself first

4. Keep a screw you fund

5. Shove people off their pedestals

6. Slay your inner nice guy

7. Stake the time vampires

8. Ignore the sheep

9. Submit to patience

10. Be the Joker
