FOREWORD
I confess: When I was first asked to write the foreword for Build Your Running Body, I thought, Oh no, not another training manual. Those of us who have been in the sport for years have seen these manuals come and go. I have read books that even Ia practicing physician, avid runner, and coachhave had trouble wading through, so burdened were they with complex running physiology. As every good physician and coach knows, the essence of communication is getting the message across. Would this book get its message across?
