The global heart awakens as a result of many minds and hearts working together, while gratitude opens the individual heart. So I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to the many people who have helped shape this work over its many years of development.

It began with my former husband, Richard Ely, whose scholarship and love of history, philosophy, and science made for endless fascinating discussions over the early years of formulating these ideas. Richard also created the history charts in the first edition of this book, which will be made available on the books website, GlobalHeartAwakens.com. I am grateful to Dawson Church of Elite Books for recognizing my vision early on, as he published the first edition, Waking the Global Heart, in 2006.

Little did I know when I first met Stephen Dinan and his wife, Devaa Haley Mitchell, creators of the Shift Network, that 10 years later they would be leading a world-changing organization and publishing this book. I continually admire Stephens broad vision and hardworking dedication toward the bettering of our world. Devaa is a quintessential embodiment of the divine feminine, and she continually reminds me of what is missing in our world.
