www.carbsandcals.com The home of the famous Carbs & Cals books and app.
www.diabetes.co.uk A UK website run by a commercial company, not to be confused with the charity Diabetes UK (see next entry). It is home to many very useful forums where you can get sensible advice and information from other people with diabetes.
www.diabetes.org.uk The website of the national diabetes charity known as Diabetes UK. It contains a wealth of information, although I find that much of the dietary information is confusing. They sometimes seem ambivalent about low-carb approaches, and suggest it is an option that is no better or worse than other approaches.
www.dietdoctor.com A Swedish website (in English) that has huge amounts of resources, information and recipes about using a low-carb lifestyle to improve your health.
www.drdavidcavan.com My website that lets you know what I have been getting up to, gives details of my books and how to arrange a consultation. You can also get in touch with me to tell me how you get on after reading the book.
www.fatismyfriend.co.uk A blog set up by Dr Joanne McCormack who is a GP in Warrington in the north-west of England. It includes loads of useful information and some recipes. She runs free courses to help people lose weight and reverse their diabetes with a low-carb diet.
www.lowcarbkitchen.co.uk Here, you will find a wealth of invaluable information and great recipes created by Emma Porter, who wrote the recipes in the Low Carb Diabetes Cookbook. She has type 1 diabetes and understands how food affects blood glucose levels.
www.HealthResults.com Health Results is a UK preventative healthcare organization. Their website includes free articles, videos, resources and recipes for reversing type 2 diabetes.
www.newforestpcn.co.uk Another great collection of resources from GPs in my neck of the woods in the New Forest in southern England.
