PRAISE FOR THE SOUL-SOURCED ENTREPRENEUR
If Christine Kane didnt already exist, the world would have to create her. The Soul-Sourced approach to business success, rooted in sound strategy and soul-searching authenticity, is exactly what todays entrepreneurs want and need. What a beautiful, powerful book!
JOHN DAVID MANN, coauthor of the international bestseller The Go-Giver
Do you want to know how entrepreneurship is being redefined? By ditching the winner-take-all tactics and leaning into authenticity and integrity. Christine Kanes book shows you how to achieve the business of your dreams, the right way. Arguably, the only way.
MIKE MICHALOWICZ, author of Fix This Next and Profit First
Christine Kane is the best kind of business owner and teacher: the kind that leads with her soul. Money, yes. Success, yes. But soul first. She understands and teaches us that power, our true superpower, doesnt come from being in charge, having money, or always knowing what to do. It comes from tapping into the deepest part of our intuition and intention. She reminds us that its not the business we create or even what it does that truly matters, but rather who we become in the process. Christine is a refreshing voice of patience in a business world so busy rushing, it often misses the point. I highly recommend this book and all of Christines work.
BROOKE CASTILLO, founder of The Life Coach School
Leader, entrepreneur, and business coach Christine Kane has helped thousands take their business ideas from concept to six or seven figures. She explains how you can do so too, by flipping its business, not personal on its head. Business is personal, she says, and in fact the more personal you make it, the more impact you will have. If you want to be successful, powerful, and influential but are repulsed by admonishments to crush, hack, manipulate, and succeed through pure 24/7 aggression, this is the book youve been waiting for. In this inspiring and practical guide, Kane points to those qualities you may have deemed problematicvulnerability, sensitivity, creativity, intuitionas the path to lasting success. She offers practical advice about navigating mindset obstacles, figuring out your relationship to money, and owning your true power. This special book is a missing link for all of us who long to succeed on our own terms. With warmth, humor, and wisdom earned in the trenches, Kane explains that you already have everything you need to build a wildly rewarding and soul-satisfying business.
SUSAN PIVER,New York Times bestselling author and founder of The Open Heart Project
Finally, a business guide that celebrates that business is personal and vulnerability is strength. Christine Kanes approach to entrepreneurship deepens our integrity, clarity, and connection to others. Eye-opening, affirming, and downright practical, Soul-Sourced Entrepreneur is a must-read for all mindful, vision-driven business owners.
KRISTINE CARLSON,New York Times bestselling coauthor of the Dont Sweat the Small Stuff series
In The Soul-Sourced Entrepreneur, Christine Kane does the brave work thats behind any business owners daily reality. She shows readers how to drop the struggle and build their businesses using self-awareness and vulnerability as strategic assets and opportunities, not things to conceal. A true embodiment of authenticity and resilience!
HAL ELROD, international keynote speaker and bestselling author of The Miracle Morning and The Miracle Equation

This book goes out to every creative, smart, passionate person who started a cool business and still has those secret days where they wonder if theyre really cut out for all of this shit.
I t was like getting a winning lottery ticket.
I won a contest. The prize was a phone call with a New York Times best-selling author who was a coach, guru, and strategist. Were talking Oprah Book Club status. Id get twenty minutes of coaching on anything. From my hero! A person whose books Id devoured! Happy day!
At this timejust three years into my career as a songwriterId never talked with a coach. I hardly ever got to talk to anyone about the challenges that came with following my dreams and making a business happen.
I figured I had some good stuff going for me. For starters, I was living my passion. This author was a motivational maven, all about passion and purpose. Shed love that part, right?
But the reality of this living my passion stuff was hard. Harder than Id ever imagined. Writing songs and performing was one thing. Trying to run a business, manage a mailing list, track numbers and money, hire an assistant who didnt show up to my home office stonedall while learning how to promote myself and my artwas a whole other game. I was in new territory constantly.
So I wanted what? Encouragement? Strategy? Compassion? I didnt know. At the time, I had no clue what to expect or even what best-selling authors did in these sessions.
I dialed in at the appointed hour. The famous author got on the line and informed mefirst and foremostwe had a hard stop time. Another winner was up after me, so we had to move quickly. Then she wanted background. She wanted data. She needed numbers. She asked for my income streams. She wanted to know my three-year plan, my five-year plan, and my ten-year plan.
I tripped over my words giving her the basics: I had just released my second CD on my own record label. Id started to write songs for my third. I was touring all over the country. I had a booking agent.
Then I moved on to my numbers, which were simple and not even sort of impressive. Id never heard of income streams, so I skipped that part. And, oops, I didnt have a planthree, five, ten, or otherwise. I could barely figure out what the next month would look like.
After fifteen minutes of back and forth, the famed author reached her conclusion.
Look, she said. Im sorry. But your situation isnt sustainable. You need to give this up and go get a job. Youve discovered something crucial herebusiness is hard. Especially the entertainment industry.
